Obviously came here because of the candyfloss gimmick.
It was good that they didn't colour the candyfloss.
I had the yuzu ramen which was topped with the candyfloss so I was assuming the broth would be refreshing as the candyfloss is there to balance it but it wasn't sour but quite sweet.
The ramen strands were quite thick because they served the tsukemen ramen.
The pork broth ramen was good because the broth was thick and rich.
The taco balls were ok but were a bit too soft and floury.

Friend was looking for venues for her banquet so she took me here to try this place to see if it was a possible venue.
Started with these cute buns which were soft and sweet tasting like typical buns.
Next was the Spanish suckling pig.
A soft and tender leg piece with crisp crackling skin.
It wasn't too salty complimented by the German Sauerkraut and fiery mustard.
The roast potatoes were delicious while the diced vegetables were laced in pesto.

Normally these square pastry blocks are filled with pineapple but at Wingwah they have ones filled with wintermelon and the one I got had salted eggyolk in it too.
I really liked it because it wasn't too sweet and the saltiness was good.
However the pastry wasn't good because it was too buttery.
They had mooncakes with my favourite pandan flavour and chocolate.
The mooncake testers were interesting because they sell the test batches!!

I love pandan so I came here for the Green fairy which is mixed with matcha, pandan, milk and nata de coco.
I decided to get a takeout because there was nothing worth dining there for except the pandan tiramisu and you get charged 10% as well as $6 compulsory tea/water.
The drink was pretty good but 20% was nata de coco and 30% was cream so you are only getting half a cup.
It would have tasted nicer if they used young coconut flesh instead because it is naturally sweet and delicious.
Anyway, I liked the pandan because it went well with the matcha.

My first visit to Burgeroom in TST

This was my first visit to Burgeroom in TST because I normally go to the one in CWB.It is much more spacious but the music is loud hence it was super difficult for me to order as I had to repeat myself about 3 times per item!
Anyway, compared to CWB, the fries are perfectly fried and blonde.
It was delicious with the creamy avocado guacamole.
I requested the cheese sauce to be separate and it was really nice of them to separate it for me.

The fish on salad was refreshing because their salad dressing is light and appetizing tossed in ponzu vinegar which is citrusy.
The hazelnut chocolate was really comforting with a heavenly topped light frothy layer.

The peach tea was rather sweet but then there is water nearby to dilute it.

I love the burgers here so went here today before going to the food expo.
As usual, had the fish burger and mushroom burger.
Started with the icecream float which was really comforting because it was damn hot that day and it was fizzy and cooling.
The fried chicken was a bit hot so had to wait for it to cool down before I could eat it.
It was quite crunchy with a kick of spice!


The mushroom burger was consistently good.
It was garnished with lettuce, tomato and gherkin.
Normally I don't eat the gherkins but the gherkins here are fantastic as they are salty and pickled just right.

The fish filet, tartar sauce were both flawless.
I requested for extra tartar sauce because it was that good, the tartar sauce was bold and tangy.

Since my last visit, there are new dishes again.
This time, it is chicken wings, who doesn't love chicken wings!

I loved the crispy coating with a complex taste because there are so many spices according to the chef.
At first I could taste cinnamon then I could taste the cajun so the sauce was not really needed.
But in the end I tried the sauce anyway and it became really addictive because it was very hot and made the food appetizing.
The Mexican Truffle Salad (Huitlacoche) is also my favourite because it has lots of mushrooms which make it taste earthy and it is vegetarian.
For meat lovers, there was the Carnitas Taco with Blue Corn Tortilla. I was really lucky that day because the Tortilla was made from blue corn brought to HK by one of the Chefs friend.
Other than the colour, it is very filling with shredded pork and the sauce from the chicken wings complement it nicely.
Finished with the Pumpkin cheesecake mousse which will really surprise you because there is a good ratio of fresh pumpkin in it.
But then all their desserts are good like the sweetcorn icecream which has real sweetcorn in it.
For drinks, had the cooling Watermelon Mojito, Pin Colada and I had my favourite Horchata which is rice based drink with cinnamon.
