I am so glad I tried it recently because there are more choices than when they first opened.
With all those choices, it was difficult choosing between strawberry, melon or blueberry but in the end had the blueberry because it looks captivating.

It turned out to be good because the icecream was not too sweet and I loved the light texture.
The blueberry sauce is the best I have tasted because it was really natural.

Unfortunately my favourite ramen shop has been replaced by Sakana gozen but luckily this shop serves good food.

They serve a variety of grilled fish.

Started with some appetizers:

These were tuna cubes on a bed of mountain yam which compliment the rice so well.

It had a strong soy sauce while the mountain yam was bland but it has this fun viscosity.

The octopus was spicy but still good.

The soup was amazing because it was really different to the usual miso soup containing daikon and mock shark fins.

Now to the stars of the show.

The grilled crayfish was delicate and springy but a little skinny!!!

The abalone was meaty and simplistic complimented by the shiso leaf shreds.

The kinki fish was divine and I am so glad I had it all to myself because the texture is silky and the fish skin is crispy and tasty.

Again, it was so good that I had to have rice with it!!!

It's been ages since I went to MK for all you can eat.Went here because of all the good ratings on Openrice.
The restaurant is spacious.

As a standard, there is a drinks and dessert counter.

The crab congee is highly recommended because it was deliciously thick and comforting with a lovely crab taste.


The sashimi, handrolls and sushis are good as well.

For carbs, I had soba noodles which were chilled and soothing,


Surprisingly, the prawn tempura was really good because the coating was fried just right and the prawn meat was springy and tender.

Finished with this really pretty Sakura mizu shingen mochi.
It wasn't too sweet so I ended up ordering lots of them.


The only improvement would be the soup because it was quite salty.

The pairing of chocolate and orange never goes wrong.
This turned out to be one of my new favourites because the chocolate is rich and creamy and the orange sauce they drizzle on it is made with real orange.
It doesn't have the bitterness from the orange peel which makes the taste so appealing and the orange sauce is not too sweet or sour but enhances the chocolate flavour.

This place is very welcoming because it is on the corner of the road with simplistic Japanese decor and big glass windows.Once inside, you don't feel like you're in Kowloon City because of the music and vibes.
The main choice of food is donburis.
There is a flask of hot soup on every table for diners which is rather comforting.
You get quite a few bowls of soup out of it (not sure if they offer refills or not though).
For drinks had the melon and apple.

Personally I liked the melon.
The steamed egg was silky and smooth with a fragrant eggy taste topped with fresh crabmeat on top.
My donburi was grilled salmon and salmon roe, sprinkled with generous glistening crab roe.
There was so much rice that I couldn't finish because every bowl has a standard of 200 grams of rice.
Anyway, my salmon was perfectly grilled, pink on the inside and peach on the outside.
The lime turned out to be the star of the show because the lime juice made it very appetizing.
My friend has the assorted donburi which he really liked, especially the squid which was flavoured well.

This was a while ago when Starbucks offered the buy1get1free offer for the frappucino.
Luckily they had two brilliant flavours that time so I got one of each.
The green tea frapp was blended smoothly and it was ice cold, perfect on a hot day with a balanced grassiness.
The coffee frapp was strong and the coffee flavour was fragrant but a little too sweet because I forgot to ask for less syrup.
Anyway, this branch handled the queue very efficiently.

This place is good if you get there early otherwise you have to sit at the bar which is a waste.
Dishes are creative.
Tried the chilled noodles which were tasty presented in a modern way.
They tasted good accompanied by the tomato consomme, the noodles were firm and springy with pieces of juicy tomatoes.
Might return to try the other dishes.
