Since my last visit, everything has improved.
They now have other options for those who don't eat yunnan rice noodles.
This time I had lamb with instant noodles and the lamb was lean without a gamey taste.
There was fermented beancurd so I ordered that which compliments the lamb nicely.
The bowl of lamb noodles was shockingly big as I ordered the small bowl!!!!
There were so many pieces of lean lamb compared to my visit years ago.
Inevitably your lips should be quite oily when you have finished but they have tissues by the door when you leave.
The chicken wings were not served hot but the chicken feet fared better because they were soft, tasty and gelatinous.

Since they opened, there are endless queues anytime of the day.
Finally tried it.
The menu layout is similar to Catayu but they serve fried chicken instead of pork.
I got the chicken with salty fruit sauce but annoyingly the sauce was right on top of the grassy leeks which made it difficult to mix the sauce or even dip with sauce.
All I can say is the chicken coating was mega crispy and that's it, the chicken inside was rather dry and evidently it was frozen chicken.
The taste was bland too.

Went here for dinner and was glad to see a pork chop pot option with tomatoes and egg which was not fried.
The tomato pot was a bit sweet but after it cooled down, the taste was not so sweet.
There was chopped up pork chop in there and it was tender but some pieces were quite chewy.
Also ordered some extra cabbage which tasted really good when dumped into the tomato pot.
Finished with the soup which was quite salty and I didn't like the pieces of pork in it.

I was really excited about the Guacamole chicken muffin. not because it was $11 but it had all my favourite combinations ie muffin, chicken, guacamole and cheese.
The first branch I went to was the one in Wanchai, also had the tea set as well which was a fried piece of chicken.

As with all burgers you can add/change ingredients but this particular one you can't.


The chicken was a bit dry and there was not much guacamole smothered on the burger so it just tasted like a chicken muffin.
There was not much white sauce either so it was very dry.

The fried chicken was very salty and spicy.

Even though my first guacamole chicken muffin experience was not good I decided to go to a different branch to see how it compared.
This branch was really good because the muffin looked picture perfect, almost as if it was for a food shoot.
There was lots of guacamole that was evenly spread over the patty.
Overall, the chicken muffin was really tasty because the guacamole made it nice and creamy but it was slight salty.
The only thing that it lacked was the mayonnaise, there was not enough to taste it.

Went here because I was invited to the UnionPay event.
After the event for was a mini buffet for guests.
The juicy asparagus was nutty and tender.
The chunks of beef were soft and meaty in rich gravy.
Dessert was good because they had cream puffs filled with fresh cream and raspberries.
It was simply delicious with bites of tart raspberry and fresh cream.

Champak by ATUM is located at this new mall called THE FOREST in MK.
The mall itself is inviting and very accessible with a good layout that won't waste your time causing  you to get lost and going round in circles.

Started with the Che ba mau with milk foam which is basically coconut milk with colourful bits at the bottom and to make it more sinful there was thick milk foam on top.
It was sweet and filling but the bits at the bottom were a bit powdery in texture but it was pretty and dreamy to drink.

As a potato fan, I got the Potato flowers with pineapple sambal sauce. basically they are crispy shaped swirls with soft fluffy potato mash in the middle complimented by a creamy pineapple sauce which looks different to the traditional red sambal sauce.

The Squid with cold noodles in lemon and yuzu sauce is what you find on social media because everyone orders it.
I had it because I love anything that is refreshing and zesty.
It was chilled noodles with ice cubes and lots of lemon slices so it was very refreshing for me but perhaps some people might find it too acidic.


Finished with dessert which was scoops of Thai milk tea icecream paired with my favourite cassava cake.
It was not too sweet and I liked the contrast of the cassava cake and the cold icecream.
