This place has a lot of meat but there are non meat options and lunches are great too because it doesn't end until 6pm!!!Anyway for lunch I had the meatballs pasta which are made with Wagyu beef, the pasta was tangy in delicious tomato sauce.

We also shared a platter and I loved the beef tart and crispy beancurd roll filled with juicy prawns and asparagus.
The foie gras spring rolls were also good as well because the foie gras was fluffy and mousse like,

The beetroot and barley salad was impressive as it was light and healthy!

Finished with a lemon tart for dessert which was sweet and dreamy.

This is just the joint for people who like grilled food.
Located in Tinhau, it is conveniently close to the MTR.
My favourite happened to be the ribs which were tender and came off the bone easily with a strong cumin bbq taste.

The beef cubes were are juicy and tasted good with a dash of salt.



The fried platter was different, there were fried duck tongues which were crispy but quite bony.

The mushrooms were a bit bitter though.

The scallops were stuffed with uni to give it that extra creaminess.

I always get the glutinous rice whenever I am in LAMTIN.
It did not disappoint because the grains of glutinous rice were soft yet al-dente with the right amount of stickiness.
The spring onions were really good as they helped cut the grease while giving it freshness in every bite.
Extra preserved sausage is optional, being greedy I got extra sausage but found out that there was quite a fair bit of sausage in it so you don't really need to order it.

There used to be Saint Alps everywhere but there are only four branches left.
I have to admit, I haven't been here for years because I have forgotten about it and they have disappeared from the places I normally go.
Taiwanese fare is not my thing either as it is just fried stuff sprinkled with seasoning and super sweet artificial drinks.
Anyway, decided to go and try the beef noodles as this is probably the cheapest Taiwanese beef noodles you will find.After all Saint Alps is the oldest specialist for Taiwanese bubble teas and food.

For $42, you can see it had everything ie the beef and tendons, but the broth was not strong enough and the beef was not soft enough.
But for that price it is definitely reasonable.
The roasted oolong tea was very thirst quenching with a good roasted aroma.

The grapefruit jasmine was refreshing as it was tart balanced by the fragrant Jasmine with bits of jelly at the bottom.

At the entrance, you will find boxes of tea so if you like the tea you can get sachets of instant milk tea or tea leaves.

Tea has always been my thing so I got the oolong which still tastes good when I made it at home.

There are lots of branches of TeaWood in Hong Kong but I decided to go back to this branch because I like Central and this was the first place I tried TeaWood.
I didn't try their food last time because I only had their drink with the thick milk cap but you could see that their menu has expanded from an A3 menu to a beautiful booklet!!!

As I was late, I missed the mix and match lunch so ended up getting the other lunch set which was a main and a drink.
The guy who was taking my orders didn't mean to say Goodbye like when you end a phone conversation but I felt really guilty because I burst out laughing as it was so funny.

Anyway, the beef noodles were fantastic especially the beef broth which was rich and strong.
The beef was really really good as it was soft and gelatinous so were the tendons.

The noodles were a little rigid for my liking but not because they were not soft enough but the type of noodles they serve are like that.

I left my ipad behind but luckily the guy from TEAWOOD gave it back to me before I got the elevator out.

Went here for a quick lunch.
Got the vegetable rice with kung po chicken, it was really good because the kungop chicken has some sweet appetizing sauce to it which is really good with the rice but unfortunately it was pearl rice.


The chicken feet were tasty and dripping in sauce.
Quite spicy and garlicky.

The chicken wings were huge but I wish the spices were stronger.

My third guacamole chicken muffin

I was still hungry so came here for a chicken guacamole muffin which was the third I've had because I love it that much.
Out of the three I have had, this was the best one in terms of taste.
The muffin was fresh, soft with a slight chewiness and the chicken patty was crispy the chicken was moist inside.
There was a balanced ratio of guacamole and mayonnaise which really enhanced the taste especially the mayonnaise as it made it creamy and even more palatable.
