I love modern vegetarian joints so naturally I was captivated by the burgers at Veggi Monster.
When I got there, I discovered that I had already tried the owners' two other Chinese style vegetarian restaurant in Kwuntong and Mongkok.

Most vegetarian joints just offer 1-2 burgers but here you have four to choose from as well as wraps and salads so decisions are tough!!!

As it was tough, I ended up coming here twice and here was what I had.
I loved the huge burger boxes!!

Burger in Black:
A burger is not complete without cheese and there they use non diary cheese which tastes just as good and melts like real cheese.
The patty which is made of organic black beans tasted like thick and firm mashed Mexican refried beans with a touch of Chinese black beans and the black olives give it more flavour.

Tofu Lover:
The tofu burger was more on the classic side because it had the normal burger sauces like ketchup and mustard but it was still tasty with beetroot and red lettuce.

Avocado and Cashew wrap:
The wrap is a lighter option compared to the burgers, again there are three to choose from.
I had the avocado because there was an interesting combination of seaweed, pickled cucumber and cashew which gave it a complex taste.

Pot of Nature:
I was really glad the boss recommended this to me because it was a whole bowl of peach tree gum flavoured by sweet olive.
It was like eating luxurious golden birds nest which is good for the skin.

Located in Sheungwan, they offer a good selection of healthy drinks like taboocha, pressed juices and other items.

As I have never tried Kombucha before I went for the beetroot taboocha which is made with Kombucha.
It was very fizzy and not too sweet.

I also recommend the mangosteen juice as well because you don't often see this drink in Hong Kong.
At the moment, they are doing a buy one get one free promotion for the burger in black until the 27th October.

Went here again because I love the rice rolls with mushrooms and there is a U Select opposite!
The rice rolls were consistently good with fragrant mushrooms it in.
Adding the chili spices it up but next time I will put the chili on a separate dish because it was so spicy that I couldn't eat the area where I put the sauce.
For drinks, they had job tears and aged peel which was really soothing and healthy.
Glad there are now some tables so people can sit down and eat.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect here because the Chinese name reminds me of the concert coliseum and the English name is a bit wild and sexy.When I got there, the decor and elements were white and red which was nice.
It was during the day so had the lunch set.

Started with the bread which was chewy sour dough.

Next was the salad which was salmon mousse and dill, I loved the crisp salad and the block of salmon was tasty.

The mains was pasta and it was home made pasta which has this firm chew to it and the semi sundried cherry tomatoes gave it a tangy twist.

Finished with the mango mille feuille which was light and delicate with sweet vanilla and mango in the middle.

Definitely coming again because the pasta choice is good.

I was really intrigued by this fruit sandwich so decided to part with $22 to try it out.
As you can see, there are mangoes, kiwi and strawberries.
On first bite, it was delicious because of the sweet cream and fruit.
However, there is no filling at the back which is common with all Chinese sandwiches!
It is never filled at the back.
The mini bananas looked cute so I took a photo.
The rice crepe was tempting as well because the pastry is made of rice.

I don't really have hotpots because its always meat, meat and meat.Went here because of the decor, it feels like someones home back in the 1970s with the signature green floor tiles and mint green electrical appliances.

There were sauces and condiments but frankly, I normally just mix soy sauce and chili because if it is fresh it shouldn't need all those sauces.

unfortunately, the hotpots are preset, so we chose the lighter option.

I really liked the broth because it was clear and tasty, there was chicken in it where they will help you cut it into smaller pieces.

One of my favourite items was the dumplings filled with crab meat.
It was real tasty crabmeat inside and not surumi imitation crab.
As well as that, the vegetables were good because I Iove vegetables.
Didn't like the noodles because they were the chewy type.

Went here because of the satay broth.
The prices were reasonable and I was impressed with the hardback cover menu and there was English and Chinese.
There were so many different combinations that it was hard to decide on what to eat.
I got the satay broth with noodles and octopus.
It was very tasty because the broth was not too sweet and it was not oily but slightly spicy.

The lemon tea is good and if you order the large size, it is good for two people to share.

It didn't have an appetizing smell to start with.
after microwaving it for 10 seconds, the room stunk.
baffled with this pungent odour I took a bite and had to spit it out because it was that bad.
the butter was really rancid and the filling didn't taste right.
