Went here because Hami Harmony had this relaxed environment serving pasta dishes.
Looking at the menu, there were two interesting pastas on the menu with a Chinese twist.
蝦米粉 Hami Pasta is basically pasta made with 蝦米 (Chinese dried prawns pronounced har mae) the stuff you find in radish puddings.
The other was duck breast fettucine with salted egg yolk.
The fettucine was good and the lovely bits of salted egg yolk gave it a salty kick without being too strong while it was balanced with pieces of mushrooms, green and yellow courgettes.
It was good that the duck breast wasn't smoked because sometimes the smokey flavour can overpower the delicate flavours.
Finished with this heavenly Baileys Trifle.
On the bottom layer was this silky Bailey's flavoured mousse with a layer of thin pudding on top.
It was decorated with cream, rose petals and meringue pieces and a small shot of Baileys in the pipette.
All the layers blended together in harmony and I liked the way they balanced the sweetness with the meringue pieces.
Will return for tea.

Antoshimo Cafe & Bakery is famous for Okinawan donuts but now they have pon da rings as well.
It would seem that the purple potato is the best because the rest is iced with lame icing and toppings.
Anyway, I am not a fan of purple potato so I got the hazelnut and salted caramel.
Unfortunately their frying oil wasn't that fresh so the donuts had this unpleasant oily odour and taste it didn't matter what flavour you got, the taste of the oil is stronger than all those fancy toppings.
It was four for $60. I was so glad I am only got two to try but even two was too much because it didn't taste right.
The texture was how it should be ie crispy and chewy in the middle but it oozed out with that lovely oil NOT!

I haven't had such delicious gyozas for a long time.
The gyozas here have perfectly thin dumpling skin and there are so many different dumplings to choose from.
Panfried, Shaken in seasoning and much more.
Being greedy, I went for the assorted dumplings with four flavours:

There were two each, one of them tasted like a Chinese hargau prawn dumpling because it was filled with prawns.
The mochi mushroom one had an elastic skin.
We also had the onion ones covered with my favourite mountain yam.
It was crispy with a viscous touch to it.

The prawn and crab was a long one paired with mayonnaise but it wasn't needed because it was tasty enough.

Last but not least, the mentaiko and silky potato were the best, the mentaiko gave it so much flavour and the silky potato mash was delicious.

Noticed this store because of the Priscilla poster.
There was a promotion earlier for Priscilla pop.
BUY PRISCILLA TICKETS AND GET PRISCILLA PARTY ICE POPS
Had the pistachio earl grey icelolly which was very creamy with a strong earl grey taste.
At the bottom there was delicious pieces of crushed pistachio.
The only improvement was the rigidity because the icelolly was a bit too soft so I had to eat it quickly.
Will go again for other flavours!

MonKee is famous for the semi cooked scrambled eggs with roast pork and prawns so this is a must order by default.
Unfortunately, I had eggs five days in a row so my meal here had to suffer by ordering something else.
As with all Chinese sets, they also come with toast and scrambled egg which I gave to my friend.
I had the liver noodles which were rather salty and the liver could have been silkier.
Ordering food here is quite difficult because you have to concentrate on the menu if you have menu dyslexia.
Finished with the salted lemon drink which wasn't salty enough for my liking.

Sadly my appetite wasn't at its best that day so I only had a soup and two appetizers.
The noodles would have been good because the broth was quite strong with a ginseng and lots of chicken with smoky red dates.

The egg appetizer is a must order because it is silky loaded with salted egg and preserved egg so it was very tasty.
It is served with pickled ginger to compliment it but it was good enough that I didn't need it.

The drunken chicken with skin attached was also good laced with red dates and wine while the taste was strong.

As well as noodles, they have glutinous rice and other goodies.

I love modern vegetarian joints so naturally I was captivated by the burgers at Veggi Monster.
When I got there, I discovered that I had already tried the owners' two other Chinese style vegetarian restaurant in Kwuntong and Mongkok.

Most vegetarian joints just offer 1-2 burgers but here you have four to choose from as well as wraps and salads so decisions are tough!!!

As it was tough, I ended up coming here twice and here was what I had.
I loved the huge burger boxes!!

Burger in Black:
A burger is not complete without cheese and there they use non diary cheese which tastes just as good and melts like real cheese.
The patty which is made of organic black beans tasted like thick and firm mashed Mexican refried beans with a touch of Chinese black beans and the black olives give it more flavour.

Tofu Lover:
The tofu burger was more on the classic side because it had the normal burger sauces like ketchup and mustard but it was still tasty with beetroot and red lettuce.

Avocado and Cashew wrap:
The wrap is a lighter option compared to the burgers, again there are three to choose from.
I had the avocado because there was an interesting combination of seaweed, pickled cucumber and cashew which gave it a complex taste.

Pot of Nature:
I was really glad the boss recommended this to me because it was a whole bowl of peach tree gum flavoured by sweet olive.
It was like eating luxurious golden birds nest which is good for the skin.

Located in Sheungwan, they offer a good selection of healthy drinks like taboocha, pressed juices and other items.

As I have never tried Kombucha before I went for the beetroot taboocha which is made with Kombucha.
It was very fizzy and not too sweet.

I also recommend the mangosteen juice as well because you don't often see this drink in Hong Kong.
At the moment, they are doing a buy one get one free promotion for the burger in black until the 27th October.
