Since my last visit, they have changed the hotpot to a 2 hour all you can eat style!

You start off with a sashimi platter with abalone, sliced beef and a seafood platter.

(These are not all you can eat but you can add another $58 per person so that the beef is endless).

The rest of the list on the sheet is all you can eat.
There are two cabinets of drinks and desserts which you can help yourself to and the appetizer bar with lots of delicious treats like spicy chicken feet and prawns.
Fresh fruits are available as well.

We had the duo pot and I was so glad we had the Sichuan broth because it was nice and spicy with a good flavour that sauces are not really needed.

Every time I end up here because this shop is everywhere and everyone thinks it is good.
This tried the new croissant pork chop bun recommended by the person at the counter.
The croissant was soggy and oily so it was not palatable.

Taipo silky tofu is so famous that everyone goes to Taipo for it.
They now have a branch in taiwai.
Nevertheless, beyond Kowloon Tong is like the unknown to me so I always get taipo an taiwai mixed up.
It was late at night but the queue was still long.
Had three different tofus, original, sesame and condensed milk.
All had a lovely tofu flavour with a silky texture.
My favourite was the condensed milk because the fragrant soyabean and condensed milk go well together.

Most buffets offer mainly seafood because the people in Asia just love seafood.
What I liked about the Square was that it was not just seafood.
They did have air flown French, Auz or Irish oysters and a good variety of crabs such as Spanner crabs etc.

For me, I liked the International selection.
It was good that you could mix your own Caesar salad too the wooden bowl by the salad selection and adding crispy bacon and cheese as you please.
The braised oxtail and polenta which was my favourite, the ox tail was soft and gelatinous while the chunks of polenta absorbed the gravy.
(Not often that you find polenta in buffets)
The German beef with saukeraut was good, I liked the tartness of the purple cabbage.
I liked the noodle bar as well but I requested my noodles without the soup because I like adding curry sauces, gravies etc from the buffet area to it.
Finished with desserts but I was rather full for desserts.

Unfortunately, I needed to grab something quick for food and only this place in Central didn't have a queue so went here.
As well as jacket potatoes made from bread, they also had real jackets at the back.
The eggs were the best, I love the shape.
Anyway got the strawberry mochi bread as I like chewy textures.
Sadly it was a square block of bread which was hollow in the middle filled with sweet custard and a blob of mochi.
The top of the bread was garnished with jam.
If it was just jam and bread, the taste would be more forgivable but it was a bit too buttery like a croissant so I didn't like it.

Tried the maple latte series.
There was toasted almond or this one.
Anyway, got this one which had a strong coffee taste.

I prefer toasted almond maple latte over the pink salt because I couldn't quite taste the pink salt.


Decided to try the new maple series because I love maple.
There were two to choose from which made decisions difficult.
One was pink salt and the other was toasted almond.

Once in a while I like to come here for burgers because I like the location, right on the corner.
As usual fish and the mushroom are my picks but this time decided to have beef as well.
The beef was surprisingly good, the patty was juicy and beefy complemented by the gherkins.
The fishburger is flawless, a good balance of veggies while the fish has a crisp coating and the fish is flakey inside.
What I like about their mushroom burger is that it is very meaty with the same ingredients as the beef except that it is vegetarian.
The staff are always helpful and help you to cut the burgers in half for easy sharing.
