If you like Thai food, I think this is a great place for hotpot because the appetizer, dessert and drinks cabinet is all you can eat including chicken, Thai salad, etc.

For the main hotpot broth, you get a choice of Thai style soups such as tom yum kung, coconut chicken, curry etc.
I chose two because it is only $10 more for two different pots.

For me, the best bit were the noodles because they have Thai Mama noodles and Cambodian noodles which I had first before the broth get oily.
With the Cambodian noodles, I like the way, the softness of the noodles is up to me.
It was nice eating out of bamboo bowls for a change.
Both noodles were good but I prefer the Instant noodles.
After having the noodles, it was time for the beef and seafood.

You get half a grey mullet which goes nicely in the tomyumkung as the strong broth balances the strong flavour of this fish.


The huge oysters didn't shrink in the hotpot and they had a very strong taste to it.
As well as the hotpot I was really satisfied with the appetizer bar so I hope to come again soon.
For drinks had the fizzy cucumber which was refreshing and soothes the spicy food.

Discovered this place a few weeks ago because of the huge flower plaque in the middle of a market.
At that time, it wasn't even on openrice so I couldn't see if the food was good or not.
After seeing some recent pictures, I decided to give it a visit because of the fish maw.
On every table, there is chili sauce and chili oil.
Started with crispy fish skin:
For noodles, I had the spicy Sichuan broth which was really flavourful with the right amount of spiciness.
The fresh beancurd skin was my favourite because it was soft and delicate.
I chose fish maw as it was on the menu, it was quite a big chunk which was quite firm with a slight chew to it.
My friend had the fried options.
It was a great feast without breaking the bank, as we chose lots of items and the bill was around 1XX.

I love trying out new places because it is generally quieter as no one has discovered it yet.Before I went, I thought there were going to be just meats on the menu but they have salads and other light options to choose.

The chairs are pink and lilac which matched my hot pineapple tea.
It was quite a refreshing tea and something different.
For salads, we had two because both were good.
One was beetroot and quinoa and the other was grilled Iberico pork shoulder on figs.
The anchovies with toast were my favourite because I love vinegared fishes.

The chicken vitello tonello is worth recommending because for those who do not eat Veal, they can finally try this dish.
I think it would also make a good lunch sandwich filling if they served lunch.

As a potato lover, the potato, pea and Iberico ham stew  was another favourite of mine, cooked in a evilicious buttery and olive oil sauce.
The peas were sweet and the potato was fluffy and soft.

Spanish food is famous for red prawns and this seafood soup had this brilliant unami touch to it as if there was red prawn in it.

Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert but they have a good range of Spanish desserts.

Garden Café at City Garden Hotel is always my favourite places for buffets.
For Christmas, it got even better because they have Christmas dessert paradise as well as traditional roast turkey.
The buffet kept me busy all night because there was something delicious at every station.
There are some starter shots before dinner which you can drink while you are waiting for friends and prepare yourself for the feast.

The seafood was good and the salads were fresh and the caesar sauce made the salads moreish.
You don't except congee to be tasty but it was with a chicken infused into it.
The noodle station was another place for my carbs craving because the tomyumkung broth was strong.

I love desserts and the donuts were comforting for me, the bite size was good and they were filled with jam, then there was my favorite pandan cake as well as the chewy sachimas.

There are so many different cheesecakes to try!!
If you reserve and pay a deposit, you can take part in the “Build Your Own Snowman” session.
Limited to one snowman per table and only 30 snowmen will be built each night on a first-booked, first-served basis.

I love this place because it is new hence it is rather quiet in the evenings, a great place for gatherings.
Had the noodles which were fantastic however I wish the portion was bigger.
Each strand of noodle was evenly flavoured.
The soup was strong and nourishing.
Ordered a portion of beef belly because you get more than just a few pieces in the noodles and it is good mixing it with the chowmein.
My friend had the rice dumpling because she just wanted it.
I am not a fan of rice dumplings so to me it was sticky glutinous rice stuffed with starchy filling.

Haven't been here for ages and I have forgotten how friendly this cafe is.
Had the fish burger which was really moist and the fish was big and chunky.
The best thing was the sauce, it was real mayonnaise, an improvement since the last visit.
Also had the rice and the egg was nicely done with a lovely fragrant egg taste.
The curry sauce which was later ordered was rather watery.
Will try the hotdog on my next visit.

We dined at THE SQUARE PORTUGUESE RESTAURANT located in the hotel offering delicious Portuguese fare with American decor.
I love Bacalhau, a must order in Macau.
They were small delicious bites of mashed fish and potato in a crisp croquette that were not too salty.

Next was the Kale and potato soup which was loaded with kale and the soup had a smooth consistency.

The Chicken curry with spices imported from India was quite spicy.

The mouth watering African chicken was also spicy but I liked the fiery chili and peanut sauce drenched on top.

For desserts we shared four different ones so we could try them all.
My favourite was the Serradura pudding because I love whipped cream!
