Had to go to crappy KITEC so the nearest shuttle bus is Telford Plaza.As I was early, decided to try this place because of the green cake.
I was hoping it to be Pandan but it was Pistachio which is still favourable as long as it is not green tea.
It was nice and nutty but I wish there was more cake to cream ratio.
The sweetness was just right and the pistachio flavour came mostly from the crushed pistachio in the cake while the pistachio cream was light in flavour.

I was quite disappointed with the Sichuan dandan noodles, it was very spicy yet the rancid taste of the peanuts were so strong that it came through and ruined the broth.
The rancid taste was so bad that the noodles absorbed it and tasted horrible.
The vegetable buns saved the day as they were light and fluffy but tiny in terms of size because they are the same size as a Shanghai Dumpling.
I didn't really expect it to be good because the other branch is in Tsuenwan so the food is probably catered for urban areas where people don't have any expectations.

It was someones birthday so we got the black sesame cake from Habitu.
It was very pretty and sparkling.
The layers of chocolate cake and sesame cream filling went well nicely.

While we were there, we also had other drinks, my friend had the seasonal truffle latte while I had the beetroot latte.
It was the best beetroot latte I have ever had because there is real blended beetroot in it and you can choose to have it with coffee or without.
As a pandan lover, I had the pandan crepe which was light and fluffy with a fragrant pandan taste.

After the colourful unicorn tea set, DK Cuppa has another surprise with fairies.
This time, it is even more girly with flash tattoos and you can even opt to get your nails done, for more details visit their FB or website.
The tea set features a good mix of savoury and sweets.
I loved the croissants and cheese.
The scallop salad and lobster salad were satisfying tossed in a refreshing sauce.

The dessert platter was elegant especially the cranberry meringue, with all that delicious sweet meringue on top.

Went here for a quick dinner and it was lovely and quiet after the office crowd has gone.
The noodles came in a big satisfying portion in a lovely strong broth but a little too sweet for me but the noodles were different because they were like big lasagne sheets.
The chicken was better than expected because you can see there is a lot of chicken meat in the picture and it was still moist.
A satisfying plate of rice and sauce that complimented the chicken.

Can't wait to come back again and try the tomyumkung noodles.

Tried Sawali Club in Wanchai last year at a Feb birthday gathering when Chiangmy was there.
Decided to try the new branch at CWB and it was just as good but we ate different dishes this time.
I was so glad to see the fermented red beancurd glass vermicelli and it was super spicy, it was spicier than this other joint in WC.
The boat noodles were fab and the portion was big.
The fried pork skin was delicious because it was freshly fried without any rancid taste.


The stir fried cabbage was ordered as we wanted a balanced dinner with vegetables.
Quite garlicky with a strong prawn paste taste.

Only tried this place because of the curry fish maw.
The curry was too spicy.
The fish maw was rather disappointing because it was rancid and it tasted like pig's skin so I wonder if it really was fish maw at all.
The chicken was dry and hard, but it was just there to make the dish worth the price because they can't just give you fish maw only!~
