Went here because this side of town is nice and quiet.The menu had noodles and rice but it was really difficult to decide because this place is famous for noodles but the rice was captivating as well as they had curry and beef tendons.
In the end, got the noodles.
The one tossed with xo sauce was really tasty with a spicy kick to it.

The other noodles with wontons was plain but the wontons were the star of the show.

The fish skin was surprisingly delicious because the fish skin were thin and crispy.
It had no rancid oil smell or taste and they were not a bit oily because I used my fingers to pick them up and they were oil free.
Anyway, I hope to come again and try the rices.

Sadly I was in Kowloon so had to dine in this nasty area.
The menu looked appealing because there was curry pizza but luckily I double checked because it was Roti not pizza.
Anyway got the crispy bun with beef curry.
The lady who served me had such a poor manner because she wasn't impressed that I didn't order much.
Anyway, the bun was disappointing or perhaps I was hoping for a crispy bun which you just can't get on the dark side of Kowloon.
It was those dusted Chinese buns.

The taste was strange, something was very bitter and salty yet there was no spiciness or taste of curry.

Found out, that this used to be in Wanchai so I don't blame them for the quality dropping because quality and service is always poorer on the dark side of Kowloon.

I have to admit that I am addicted to the gyozas here because the dumpling skin is thin and the fillings are delicious yet they are not oily.
Chao Chao gyoza are always launching new flavours so you have to keep checking their social media for the latest updates.
On this visit, I tried the shake shake gyozas curry flavour.
It was fun putting the curry powder in the bag and shaking it


The curry flavour is mild so it doesn't over power the gyozas.
The other new yuzu pepper flavour is really strong so it should be eaten last.


Basically, it is very spicy with a strong chili pepper taste.
The mushroom gyozas are white because the dumpling skin is made with rice flour and it tastes sweet in my opinion.

Since popwalk has opened, there are so many new eateries yet there are so many people that almost every new restaurant is packed.
Went here because this one was quite quiet.
Had the efu noodles which I have always wanted to try which is usually sold out.
It was not as good as anticipated because the noodles were tasteless except for the bit which had sauce on it.
The roast pork was chunky but rather chewy and dry.

For that price, I would rather waste it on McDonalds.

Went with a group of uni lovers because all this uni had to be shared!!!!
S2 in Central is famous for uni everything!
There is a new layered uni glass which is much more colourful with purple sweet potato at the bottom and crab meat on top.
If you like tuna then go for their signature one on the right.

The lobster pot was the star of the show. It was surprisingly cheesy which made the yellow konjac noodles moreish!

The cheese was really strong at the beginning but when it cools down the taste is not as overwhelming as it smells.

As well as uni, we also had other items.
The chicken wings were stuffed with huge abalones and they were so big that you can see them sticking out and taking up the whole space where the bones were.

The baked oyster was really creamy and evilicious, again topped with uni and crab roe.

The uni salad was refreshing and very sweet because it had cubes of pear in it which gave it some sweet notes.

A few years ago McDonalds launched all day breakfast only on new years day and since then they have been serving it every year.

This year, they decided to promote the hotcakes with a choice of four sauces.
Three were not available before such as strawberry, fudge and Skippy's peanut butter.
Clearly the strawberry and fudge sauce are the sauces used for the sundaes.
Also served all day on New Years day was the soy milk which is another breakfast item.

I got the hotcakes deluxe, extra Sausage Mcmuffin, Bacon loaded fries, apple pie and the soy milk because I always like having fun mixing the things around.
 0 讚好

The pancakes were hot, soft and fluffy and they tasted even better when I put the filling from the apple pie onto the pancakes.

Some of the chocolate sauce was put into my soymilk making it into chocolate soymilk, while I played with the remaining sauce on the hotcakes.



For the Sausage McMuffin, I put the guacamole from the loaded fries and it went really well together.


To summarize, I had a fun New Years day!

I love cheese so when McDonalds came out with the Quattro Cheeseburger with 4 slices again I had to get it.
The burger was a little different from the product picture and would have tasted better if they arranged it like the picture with cheese slices in between the beef instead of 2 cheese slices on the bottom and top of the burger.
It was definitely delicious with the extra cheese and sauce especially the white cheese as it is tastier.
THE ONLY THING THAT RUINED IT WAS THE TEMPERATURE, THE BURGER WAS COLD!!
Luckily I tried it at a different branch last year because this branch always serves cold burgers.
