Despite this restaurant is well hidden, it was extremely busy and almost full.

The menu was a bit repetitive, it was mainly baked stuff with cheese or just the standard stuff.

The cheese toast with uni was quite nice but rather buttery.

The pizza was really similar to the toast, again with the same cheese but it had truffle so there was some truffle taste, Again it was burnt as HKers love burnt and black things which is the norm.

The fried stuff was a bit disappointing as it was over fried.

Anyway, we were lucky we didn't get the table in the middle because there was something on the corner which made them jump!

The waiter had to finish it off for them!

Strangely I was attracted here by the possibly Cantonese style inspired chicken with five different sauces.
It is basically the same as Hainan chicken but served with mustard, soy sauce, chili sauce etc.
The beef noodles were really good as they taste different to other Taiwanese joints because there is some Sichuan flavours going on in the broth.
The squid looked different to the product shot.
It was quite bland.
Finished with the drink and the red tea turned out to be nicer than expected because there was Earl Grey infused in it which isn't the Taiwanese norm unless they gave us the wrong tea!

After a nights clubbing, all I can think of is a greasy Kebab but in Hong Kong, there are so many choices.
Cart noodles are not usually open this time of the night but LKF Cart Noodles is!

I had spinach noodles with Chinese radish and pigs blood jelly.
The broth was really strong and the spinach noodles absorbed it nicely.
Next time I am going to eat faster because I like my noodles with a chew.

The chicken wings were surprisingly good because it was evenly flavoured and soft.

The fish skins were a good snack to begin with and tastes even better when dipped into curry sauce or soup.

When I found out there was a second branch of Burger Joys I decided to give it a visit and see if anything was different.
I was surprised to find out that the location was where Electric Ave used to be.
As they have just opened, they only have burgers and soft drinks.
The decor is going to change next week so I didn't take any pictures of it.
Had the fish burger combo which comes with fries and a drink.
The tartar sauce was really tart which balanced the fried fish filet nicely and there was lots of sauce.
Also had the mushroom burger which is vegetarian.
It was light and tasty.
The patty had a nice crunch on the outside.

Fans of Mr Steak can come here because The Sky Bar is also part of Mr Steak, hence the beef is guaranteed to be good.

For starters, chose the Brown crab and American Pearl Oysters.
The oysters were fresh as expected and all it needed was a squeeze of lemon.
Although there is some strange tomato sauce in the middle which is a Hong Kong thing.

The Brown crab was the star of the show because there was so much roe and Tomalley that it was best eaten with bread.
The pea soup from the soup bar was warm and comforting with lots of peas in it.
For mains, the pineapple and short ribs were tangy and tender.
I had the surf and turf because the beef was as good as expected.
It was a nice chunk of tenderloin that was juicy and full of beef flavour.

Finished with the desserts which left me feeling satisfied.

The place we wanted to go was packed so went here for lunch.Although this is a Sichuan restaurant, the decor would fool you into thinking it was something else.
Lunch sets cost around $78 with rice and soup/drink.
The stir fried beef and cumin was addictive, it was tender slices heavily flavoured in cumin.
The spicy porks blood was quite oily but tasty.
As well as blood jelly, there were big chunks of luncheon meat, squid and tripe.
Overall a great place for lunch but extremely noisy like a pub.

I rarely go to SK these days because the transport sucks.Anyway stopped by for lunch as I was in SK to collect something.
Piccolos has been around for ages and this probably my third time here.

The menu has changed quite a lot and offers a good variety but having Western tastebuds I had the Spaghetti Bolognese.

The portion was enough for two and it was served piping hot.
I loved the rich tomato taste and the abundance of meat in the pasta while the texture of the pasta al dente.

It was really good that it came with garlic bread because there is so much meat sauce to go with it.
Water was served and they put raspberries and lemon slices in it which makes it not so boring.
