My friend told me about this place so I had to go and check it out because I love chicken.

It is slightly different to Roast chicken and potatoes but they had my favourite chips with chicken salt!
They use free range chicken that are hormone free according to their website.

Since this place specializes in chicken, I had to have chicken with chips but they have the Birdy pack which also includes a salad and chips so I got the pack.
For salads, there were so many choices!
The chicken was roasted perfectly and fuss free while the chips were so good with that chicken salt sprinkled on it.

I purposely paired it with the detox salad which is cabbage and carrots.

My friend had the DG's chicken and waffle with additional small Romaine salad.

Finished with the Iced Tea and Lemonade with Cayenne Pepper.

The lemonade was spicier than I imagined.

Plastic straws are not used here which is quite good.
It is good to see another Aussie joint in Hong Kong!

I was in SK over the CNY but was too lazy to walk over to The Cabin, Village Malaysian etc and this restaurant saved the day because there is no point paying for overpriced stuff that is not my cup of tea and the food I had here is 10x healthier.
It was late in the afternoon and I was in SK to get another bus somewhere for dinner so I had something light.
Originally wanted the roast potatoes which weren't ready yet so I had the hummus.
The hummus here is made with more Tahini than Chickpeas hence it is a lot smoother and not as thick paired with Lavish flat bread which is a lot thinner with a slight crisp to it.
It all worked out brilliantly because there was a perfect ratio of flatbread to hummus as sometimes you don't get enough of either or too much of either!
The hummus wasn't strong in flavour but you could taste the Tahini.
As I said the recipe is different because some are more lemony or laced with cumin or chickpeas.
Anyway, it really makes me miss hummus brothers in UK where they had chicken curry hummus bowls!
Tried the falafel and it was fluffy with a hint of mint.

Went here twice but the quality was very different.When it was good, it was very good but when it was bad, it was very bad!
On the good occasion, the shaobeng held together and on the bad visit, it just disintegrated altogether.
I tried three fillings: egg and bacon, egg and yaotiu and egg and sweetcorn.
The egg and yoatiu had to be my favourite because it my favourite yeasty cruller and shaobeng put other.
For the other two fillings, it might not be that satisfying for people because the filling is not that substantial.

The salad filling was really good with currants but the sauce was too sweet.

The savoury tofu was really good as it was tasty but the savoury soybean drink was a bit strange because it was like the tofu curds separated with the soymilk!
For drinks, the soyricemilk tasted like grounded peanuts and the tea with black soybeans fared better.

It must have been ages since I last went here because it was at a different location but the new location is much bigger and conveniently located near the MTR.The only thing is you have to burn your calories before eating as they are located some flight of stairs above!

The vegetable tea was just a good as before loaded with vegetables, squid, preserved sausages and glass vermicelli.
The portion was slightly bigger than expected.

Also had the LEI TEA which was new, the appearance is similar to the vegetable tea but the taste is just like bitter tea with lots of sesame at the bottom.
As a tea lover, I appreciated this!

The chicken and herb soup was nourishing but the herb taste wasn't as strong as expected.

Will probably come for the lemon fish.

I had a craving for Spanish omelettes so decided to return here for it because the one here has liquid Japanese egg yolk inside.
For starters, we had the Hand sliced Acorn fed Iberico Jamon which was slightly waxy and oily with a salty touch to it without being too salty.
It was followed by creamy Iberico ham croquettes which were crispy filled with silky potato puree and tasty ham.
The Pan con tomate was really appetizing with tangy Spanish tomatoes on crispy Spanish bread slices flown from Spain.
Next was the flawless Spinach and pear salad with Idiazabal cheese, pecan nuts, pomegranite and 15 year old balsamic.
Everything was well balanced with the sweetness of the pear and bursting pomegranite seeds.
There were lots of choices for Ceviche but I liked the scallop ceviche because of the citrus dressing and chilis.
Basically I have a weak spot for citrus flavours because it is so moreish.
Next was Spanish cabinero with potato suquet and picada sauce.
This dish was unexpectedly filling because of the rich and soft fluffy potatoes beneath it.
I am picky with beef but the US beef fricando tenderloin and porcini veggies was excellent.
Every slice of beef was so tender that you could separate it with your fork.
The lamb cutlet with pearl onions, aubergines, romesco sauce was rich and the lamb was tender and moist.
I really appreciate how clean the lamb chops were because the fat had been trimmed and the lining has been removed from the bones.
The spanish omelette was just as good as the first time I tried it if not better because it had my favourite mushrooms and springy prawns while the liquid yolk was just unbeatable.
For dessert, we shared a dessert platter which had churros, chocolate tart, icecream and cheesecake.
The dessert is best paired with tea.
The mocktails that night were great too, my favourites were the strawberry and lime.

In HK, everyone is particular on how they like their burger patties for example the size and how well they are cooked and the quality of the beef.
Anyway, Grubers from Monaco are in HK and I just couldn't wait to try it because of their patties which are blended with fresh ingredients.
There are currently 7 blends of which five are beef, and the other two are chicken and veggie blend.
For $88, you can get a combo which includes a side and drinks.
[some drinks are not included but you can pay a few dollars extra to make it a combo].
Starting with the Sexy Fries, they looked like Crinkle cut flat chips and the best thing is that they had real mayonnaise because mayonnaise and chips are delicious and evilicious.

For the burgers, I tried the chimichurri beef, veggie blend and the chicken.
Chimichurri was clearly my choice over the Jalapeno and truffle because it is a blend of chopped parsley , minceed garlic, olive oil and oregano.
I could also taste some oregano dressing in the lettuce which brought out the flavours and the beef patty was springy and juicy.

As well as the beef, the veggie was another one of my favourite because it had potatoes in the blend.
Adding crispy bacon made it even tastier because the saltiness of the bacon goes well with the veggie patty.

Last but not least was the chicken blend, the chicken patty is dusted with grounded maize which makes it crispier and the chicken patty reminded me of the the UK Burger King chicken burgers.
To summarize, I think the best toppings to add are bacon and mushrooms and I am definitely coming back again!

It has been years since I last went to Loving Hut.
They used to be across the road on the ground floor where 759 used to be and there was another branch at Telford Gdns which has moved to IMAX.
Every evening, they have a set meal where you can pick three items from the list.
That night, my friend had the crispy chicken in orange sauce and some other tofu items which were delicious.
I had the stir fried flat rice noodles which turned out really good because it doesn't have that smelly meat smell and it was loaded with so much vegetables.
For dessert, finished with the egg tarts which are eggless hence the middle bit was light and the texture is a bit like pudding.
The chocolate cake was a surprise because the dairy free cream tasted like cream and the egg free cake was rich and moist.
