Went here during happy hour and had the mint chocolate cocktail.I don't normally order cocktails but mint chocolate is one of my favourite flavours and it tasted like my mint chocolate icecream so it was really nice.
It turns out that they serve dinner as well in the evening so I decided to try it.
Started with bread which was served with butter and balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
The Caldo Verde was really flavourful and just as good as the ones in Macau with a rich potato flavour and a touch of black pepper.
The Grilled Tenderloin was juicy and big served with potatoes and carrots.
It was served medium rare just the way I like it.
The slow roasted chicken was tender and soft.
It was served with ginger and cream sauce which wasn't really needed as the chicken was good on its own.

I am always here because the food is good.
Dessert is equally as good which is the first thing you see when you go there.

Every now and then, they will have something fresh from the kitchen which you line up to collect.
That night they had Western style Bowl feast which was a collection of meats and seafood.
Then there was the steak which attracted a huge line but it was worth it because it was juicy and soft.

Another must try is the noodle station and that night they had tom yum kung.
Nourishing American ginseng soup:

I forgot to take a picture of the salad but they use hydrophonic leaves which are luscious and fresh.
Now to the dessert which I was also looking forward to!
Chinese New Year Desserts:

Freshly made cherry pancakes!

To round it of, there were lots of teas and juices at the bar side which are self service.

I can't believe since my last visit, the menu is bigger and better.
As well as my favourite Paneer Bhurji roll, they now have chicken keema roll which is another good option because I like minced chicken.
I was so glad the boss was there as she recommended the Aloo Chaat.
Although I have tried them before, the one here is now my favourite because there is lots of appetizing Tamarind sauce drizzled on top and they use tater tots for the aloo which are fried to perfection.
Hence, it was very moreish!

The other new item is the Chapate chicken wings which are also damn good!
The wings are coated in this delicious crispy coating drizzled with more Tamarind sauce so they taste like Buffulo wings with a fruity tone.
They are single boned as well which makes them easy to eat.

Last but not least was the Paneer Bhurji roll which is always tasty but spicy.

Obviously I was attracted here by the Tiki Tiki style cockails and Nepalese food.When I got there, it was funky as expected with lots of colourful monkeys everywhere.
Sadly as my friend wasn't adventurous we ordered the non Nepalese food, otherwise I would have ordered the momos and Nepalese noodles.
Anyway, we had Peri Peri chicken and fish tacos.
The chicken was fantastic, it was half a chicken smothered with their Peri Peri sauce which I really liked because it was really spicy and if you have tried Nepalese Momos, the sauce tastes like that.
The sweet potato wedges were a bit disappointing though because I would prefer proper potatoes to match the chicken.
The fish tacos were battered fish drizzled with sour cream on top of a bed of julienne cabbage.
Again using that Peri Peri sauce enhanced it a bit more even though there were fresh chopped chilis on the fish so watch out.

You also get soup and salad.
The soup was flavourful but there was too much salt for my liking.
Finished with the drinks and dessert.
The Monkey colada was heavenly because it was sweet so I liked it.
The Skull and Bones was refreshing and strong.
Dessert was cheesecake.
It had a hint of caramel/toffee so I really liked it.

Xin Dau Ji has been around for decades so it is a great place to take visitors here.99% of the crockery are chipped and most of the diners are tourists.

Anyway, ordered the famous suckling pig which is roasted to serve.

As I said, eating good food is always luck as you don't know which part they will give you and whether it is what you prefer.
The suckling pig I was given was extremely fat and there was not much meat on it.
The sweet and sour pork was just the same, it was very fat and different to the sweet and sour pork you get in UK which is just lean and meaty.

The oysters were huge coated in thick coating but you the oyster flavour wasn't strong.

The signature noodles really represent Hong Kong, especially the charred oily wok taste which you get when the oil/wok has been used a lot that evening.

Went to GCC to get the CNY pudding so decided to eat there as well.
The XO rice rolls were really tasty and evenly coated with soy sauce.
We also had the Roast Iberico pork which was too fat for our liking.
Here was the stylish pudding topped with edible gold leaf.

Been to this restaurant quite a few times because it is expat friendly.The menu is really helpful because it is in Japanese, Chinese and Korean.
Started with the congee which was creamy and packed with preserved eggs.
Dessert was piggy custard buns which were oozing with custard filling.
The mushroom bun was filled with sweet Taro and it definitely tasted like those Taiwanese Taro teas.
It wasn't too sweet so I really liked it.
