Almost a vegetarian brunch with Avocado porn

Recently I was in an Avocado mood after watching videos of Avocaderia and The Avocado Show overseas.
I was so glad that to find out on FB that Verde Mar has at least 4 avocado dishes and an Avocado Smoothie beverage!

Firstly avocados are from Mexico, so Mexicans probably are the best at serving it and secondly avocados are cholesterol free and healthy.
Went here for brunch because there was something else I wanted to try as well as avocados!!
On the brunch menu, they had scrambled eggs with cactus served with tortilla and refried beans.

As I went with some health fanatics, we were able to order 3 different avocado dishes to share.
Started with the Ceviche de Avocado.
(Creamy avocado mixed with finely diced tomato and cucumber with a hint of lime)
The presentation looked like avocado tartar but the taste was far better with creamy goodness with refreshing lime and juicy cucumbers and tomatoes.

The Avocado burger trio was really photogenic and a good option for brunch because of the egg.
(Choice of their homemade meat patty/portobello mushroom, a trio of specialty antojitos with tomato-guacamole salad cup and yummy fresh egg.
The trio was a good mix of everything with appetizing guacamole and nutritious egg.
I was surprised the black and white sesame actually gave it a nice subtle crunch as well as being decorative.
Avocado Tostada:
(Homemade com Tostada spread with guacamole mash and avocado topped with Ranchero cheese and chili flakes)
This was a bit different from the other two in the sense that there were chili flakes which gave it a slight spiciness.
All I could think of was fleur de Avocado!
Last but not least was the Scrambled eggs with cactus.
I was really looking forward to this and it was amazing because I like delicately light flavours as well.
There isn't much taste in cactus but I love the slimy texture and there is also onions in the egg to give it a slight sweet flavour.
It also tastes great if you just roll everything in that soft tortilla like a burrito with their delicious homemade spicy sauces.
I can't wait to come back again to feast on avocados!!
Some of the dishes above are really popular for people eat only eat raw foods!!
