I appreciate teas so whenever there is a new tea house or tea themed cafe I have to go and check it out.
When you go in, you will notice the simplistic yet modern decor.The menu is extensive, as you will find set meals, tea based drinks and cakes.

The set meal is pretty simple, you can choose from Chazuke, Noodles in tea soup, or noodles in cold tea soup paired with two sides from a choice of four.

Tried the Chazuke and Noodles in Tea Soup.
Both were filling and the sides that day were yuzu and sencha chicken wings, tofu in Jasmine tea, mixed mushrooms in oolong and fish in lemongrass orange dressing.
As well as the tea flavours in the sides, there were lots of tea leaves that you could see.

There were so many drinks to choose from so I had the chocolate with masala which was chocolate with a hint of spices.
Masala Chocolate:

The Matcha Au Lait was a popular drink, where you get to mix the matcha and pour it it.
It was fun and you get try the matcha before you pour it in to see how it tastes.
As well as Matcha, they also had my favourite Earl Grey in chiffon cake form.
It was light and fluffy complimented with my favourite whipped cream.
I can't wait to come again but queues are expected on the weekends.

As well as lots of Vietnamese joints opening, there are more Thai noodle joints around after the success of Samsen.
I was appealed by the bright baby blue decor so went in.
The menu is clear in English and in Chinese and prices are not that expensive at the moment.

I tried the Rayong Assorted noodles which had a bit of everything and chose rice vermicelli to go with it.
The broth was not salty yet  you could taste the star anise and other spices, it lacked the unami taste but after adding the sauces on the table the taste was good.

The Hainan style chicken was accentuated by the spicy sauce which had fermented beans in it that gave it the saltiness.
The soup that came with it was the star because you could really taste the coconut as they used old coconuts.

For snacks, we had the Chicken feet which were very acidic for someone who likes it very sour.


Finished with the lime soda and lime tea which were not too sweet.

Sai Ying Pun is a lovely area so I am always around exploring new restaurants.
Crispy Bistro had an interesting name and the the breakfast pairings were not the usual because you can have waffles or crepes.
A strange combination but it means you can have crepes or waffles.
So ordered the crepe one.

The crepe was filled with cheese and bacon so that was a surprise, it was a fun pairing of a sweet crepe with bacon.
The baked beans were quite sweet and taste like Ayam baked beans although I could be wrong as there are so many brands out there these days.
For me, I had the panini because I love hummus, salad and feta cheese.
It was healthy and delicious but I wish there was more hummus.

Finished with a nice hot cup of leafy jasmine tea which was included in the set.

I am a fan of Yvonne's noodle and this second branch is bigger and better with a menu that offers more than just noodles.
Anyway, I decided to try the noodles with minced meat and peas to see if it tastes the same as the hunghom branch.
Here they serve it with chickpeas which are different from the green peas at HH.
The noodles were soft and stodgy.
The other soup noodles were also stodgy and stuck together, otherwise they were both good.
Finished with the ice jelly which was a generous portion.
It was a perfect finish to sooth and cool your palate  after eating spicy stuff.

As I come from Eastboxxne, Fish and Chips by the sea was something I took for granted.Now you can have fish and chips by the sea in Sai Kung.
The decor was nice and relaxed.
These chairs are perfect for any coat.
The menu at Momentai had a good variety ranging from burgers, poke and almost everything.
For me, my choices were clear, I wanted Fish and Chips and the burger.
I was so chuffed they had Bubble and Squeak so I ordered a side of it.
The version here is so much healthier because it isn't fried.

My veggie burger was tasty and filling with halloumi and a veggie patty on top of some crisp sweet baby gem lettuce leaves.

The Fish and chips was spot on with a good crispy batter and moist flaky fish inside.
I can't wait to come back again because they have apple crumble as well.

As well as watching TV during Prime Time, you can now feast on USDA Prime beef dishes and foie gras at the buffet at Holiday Inn Golden Mile's Bistro.
It is now available until the end of the month.

Starting at the appetizer end, there was a great variety of cheeses, foie gras terrines and mousses.

The foie gras mousse was the best because it was velvety balanced by the apricot jelly on top.

The other hot stars of the show were the US Prime beef dishes such as Roasted beef with asparagus roll, BBQ US Sirloin & Ribs, Pan-fried Foie Gras with roasted Granny Smith Apple.



As well as beef, I had oysters and lobsters.


I was quite full but there were so many delicious things that I had to try like the flame grilled sushi and their soups.



Every person gets served foie gras and beef at the table which is part of the buffet.


For desserts, they had the latest Haagen Daz flavours like blueberry and lavender and Cherry Blossom.
I was so chuffed that they had it there.

Since my last visit, there have been lots of changes.I went straight here thinking I could get a Cornish Pasty but they didn't have it because they have stopped serving it and opened a cafe on the ground floor that sells all the pastries and bakery which is bigger and better.

Anyway, since I was already there, I had the hot dog.
The fries were fried perfectly and the hot dog was paired with ketchup and mustard so everything was good.
The bun was soft and fluffy so I was happy.
