Came here especially for the Pandan Panna Cotta!
Ended up having the Pandan Latte as well
The pandan panna cotta was really creamy and thick with a fragrant pandan taste.
Finished with the drink and I could still taste the lovely pandan so the pudding and drink are in harmony and does not over power each other.

As well as burgers, they have soft serve!!
It only costs $15 so a great dessert treat before or after watching a movie.
The softserve was creamy and not too sweet with a choice of sauces.

Also had the beef burger but I found the patty a bit salty compared to the last visit.
They said it was a different batch of patties so will investigate.
Hopefully, the burgers should be just as good next time because I do like their burgers.

While everyone is at SS, Grubers gives me a similar burger satisfaction.

Discovered this new pork chop bun at Yoshinoya so decided to try it.
It seems that no one has ordered it before as it was like a new task to them and it took about 20 minutes.
The noodles were too soft.
The pork chop was in a soft sweet bun, there were some onions and salad cream sauce so the taste was rather Hog Kong style but then pork chops buns are from HK!
Worth trying but not my cup of tea.

I was captivated by the Swiss Rolls in the fridge.
Got the Earl Grey and Pandan.
Both rolls had a lovely soft and fluffy texture but the cream was nasty.
It left a film of thick grease over my tongue.
Although I didn't like that salted sweet buttercream, the overall taste of these rolls reminded me of cakes in China Town.

Also got the Mini Apple Crumbles which looked like mini cupcakes but then they could be mini muffins.
They tasted like a hybrid of cake and muffin because it wasn't too soft or crumbly topped with biscuit crumbs and cinnamon on top.

Currently Starbucks and Arome Bakery have puddings in nice sturdy plastic tubs.
Previously tried Starbucks and now I am trying Arome Bakery.
In terms of packaging, the Arome Bakery tubs are stronger and better with a spoon inside.
As for the flavours, there were Matcha and Milk Pudding.
The texture is totally different from Starbucks because it is soft and silky like tofu and disintegrates in your mouth.
In terms of taste, it was very creamy and milky but it was too sugary sweet in taste and smell for my liking.

Patisserie Mon cher used to do these cute Hello Kitty cakes which were really popular.
They now have a branch on Lynhurst Terrace selling cream cakes and softserve.
As I love cream, I went there for the Cream Roll but it was sold out.
The fruit sandwiches looked good but I ended up having a lemon mousse cake and a softserve to cool myself on a hot day.
There are some cute toppings for the softserve but I like mine plain.

The softserve was really creamy and full of flavour without being too sweet.
It was really good that they used Hokkaido Milk to ensure an above average softserve.
The lemon was soft and fluffy with a light lemon jelly topping while the portion was just right for one.

I was there on the 22nd and tried the Tasting Menu ($328 per person) which can also be ordered a la carte.

Appetizer platter:
Crispy Pork Rolled Bean Curd Loh Bak with Cucumber and Red Onion, Nonya Mango with fresh mint, chili, red onion and ginger flower and Mackerel Fish Otak Otak with coconut cream.
I liked the Otak Otak as it was made with Mackerel and the texture was like Salmon Terrine while the salad was refreshing.

This was my favourite as it was strong with lots of spices just like mulligatawny.

Degustation of main courses:
Wok fried Crayfish in creamy salted egg sauce, Kurobuta Pork Rib Bak Kut Teh and Baked Sambal Stingray with Chincalok and calamansi.
The crayfish was so damn good because of the sauce and the bak kut teh had a nice peppery tone.
Some people might find the stingray quite spicy even though it has been toned down for the tasting menu.


For desserts, I loved the Durian Bubar Terigu which was not too sweet packed with healthy ingredients.
