This is a great option for lunch if you are working in the area as they serve big portions.
Tried the curry which was better than expected, it was the usual Japanese style curry sauce topped with thinly sliced grilled beef.
The Grilled teriyaki chicken impressed me because the teriyaki sauce was light and not too cloyingly sweet.
It was worth paying for because it was diced chicken thigh meat that was springy.
To summarize, it is like Yosxxxxa but better.

At TH & TW Cuisine, you will find Taiwanese and Thai food on the menu.
It gives you the best of both worlds when you have a group of people who want different things.
For lunch, had the Taiwanese Beef noodles and Hainan Chicken Rice.
Beef noodles:
There were some thick slices of beef shin which were soft and gelatinous.
Definitely impressed me here because I haven't had any good ones lately as they have all been dry and hard.
To complement the noodles, there was a side of my favourite preserved vegetables.
Hainan Chicken Rice:
Evidently, the Hainan chicken rice is a popular pick as they ran out of the chicken oil rice.
The chicken was soft and silky while the pickles turned out to be a surprise as they were so refreshing with a little chili kick to it.
For drinks had the freshly blended pineapple slush and lemon soda.

味道 Yum Yum
上環畢街15號地舖
G/F, 15 burd street, Sheung Wan
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/confused-e3096510
Went here for lunch.
When I went in, I was greeted by this Western Industrial design yet the menu was local Hong Kong stuff.
As I am not particularly fond of HK stuff, I just randomly picked instant noodles and it came with a drink which I gave to my friend as it was local stuff.
The cool thing was the fish and chips, it was served on a wooden board and the fish was drizzled with sauce.
{hope that wasn't salad cream}
The mugs that they use are metallic with the restaurant names on it.
I suspect, they are going to change the menu later with creative dishes but for now they are just serving local food.
Will come back later as I don't think this is what they intended to serve.

As I don't often roam in TST, didn't know it was a new dessert joint until I saw the reviews.
For me, I chose cake with tea and it was really good that they had my favourite Mightly Leaf Earl Grey.
It went well with my chocolate cake because it helped balance the heavy cream.
My friend had the shaved ice which turned out good enough for three people to share.
It was loaded with so much red beans, green tea pudding and mochi balls.
Definitely the dessert on a hot day.
They are going to change the menu soon so everything might be different on the next visit.

This bagel joint is nicely hidden so I keep forgetting to go.
Finally went but they were on holiday so went back another day.
There are lots of bagels to choose from so basically you choose your bagel, then the filling.
I chose the sun dried tomatoes with a creamy onion and chive filling.
It was wrapped and sliced in the middle served piping hot.
As it was hot that day, had to wait for it to cool down a bit before I could touch it.
It had the usual bagel texture with a soft chew complimented nicely by the creamy filling which turned out too heavy on a hot day.

Recently went to the Kwun Tong Fish and Chick Plus and deliberately did not eat fish as I was planning on trying this new branch in Sai Ying Pun!
I love this new location even though it is not by the sea as the vibes in Sai Ying Pun is always good.
The menu for fish was more extensive and they had mushy peas and gravy according to Shambles.
For fish, I had Monk and Flounder served with shoestring fries and the normal chips.
Both fish were good in different ways but Monk is more delicate and chunky.
Also had mushy peas as well.
For dessert it was comforting they had carrot cake

Those were the days when Haagen Daaz was respected as an expensive icecream, but not anymore!
Practically everywhere you go, any so called softserve or icecream claiming to be from Japan is going to cost more than $30.
It was fate that I had the softserve because they have stopped serving pancakes.
The only thing that is special about this softserve is the appearance with the piping and the cone is different.
Thankfully, it tasted good as it didn't cause me to throw it away.
Although it was palatable, it wasn't the best softserve I have had but it merely tasted like evaporated milk in softserve form that wasn't too sweet.
The cone was really delicate that you had to hold it carefully as it literally crumbles and melts in your mouth like a thin cookie shaped into a cone..
Can't read Japanese so don't know what the 25% means!
