I love office areas as they are always deserted in the evenings so if you want peace and quiet, here is the place to go.
Sat on the roof top so it was quite hot but luckily there was a fan to cool us down.
For drinks, had the pina colada which was refreshing but not too heavy or sweet with real pineapple juice in it.
I would have had the Virgin bloody mary but I didn't see it earlier.
The food menu looked good but the heat just made me lose my appetite a bit.
In the end I had the ribs which turned out to be yummy as the smoky sauce was good and the meat was fresh and came off the bones easily.
But I felt even more hungry after that!!!!
The avocado mango salad was funny though as they used guacamole for avocado.
Judging by the ribs, the roast spring chicken should be good and the curry could possibly be good if it is Indian style.

[Review 6722] Memorable cutley @ 頹飯 Le Hea Rice

頹飯 Le Hea Rice
中環利源東街20號地舖
G/F, 20 Li Yuen Street East, Central
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/memorable-cutley-e3110124
There are so many joints on this street and I am currently going to try each one.
Le Hea Rice does not have many options so I had the luncheon meat with egg in curry sauce and rice.
On the menu, there was also a blue ribbon sandwich which I never would have guessed was ham and cheese or I would definitely have chosen it.
Normally, you get these boring clear packets with chopsticks but the one here was black and fun!
I wonder if they had Superman too.
I was really happy with my simple luncheon meat in curry sauce because the curry sauce tasted exactly like the ones in China Town.
This is a joint that I will remember.

% Arabica was a success at TST Star Ferry.
Now you can also get the Signature Matcha Latte on the other side of the harbour at IFC.
They are located where Garrett Popcorn used to be so it a good grab and go location.
Tried a coffee and tea.
Strangely the matcha was pricier as it was one of the signature drinks.
I admit it was really good as it was not grassy and the milk they used was fresh which really helped.
The coffee was strong which is needed as every sip was powerful.
To conclude I still liked the matcha more as it was natrual and not sweet.

[Review 6720] Kee Wah 2018 Zhongzhi @ 奇華餅家 Kee Wah Bakery

The Zhongzhis at Kee Wah Bakery are delicious as well as healthy.
My favourite one was the quinoa because it was healthy.
The one with ham and dried scallop was full of flavour.
There is always a sweet one too and this year it was mandarin peel which gives it a slight bitterness to balance the sweetness.

[REview 6719]McSorley's in Kowloon @ McSorley's Brewhouse & Grill

Yay, McSorley's is in Kowloon and they are also at Discovery Bay.
It is on the rooftop of Elements which is conveniently reached by the escalators from the MTR Station.
The menu is slightly different and there is a big section with seafood and meats as well as the usual pub favourites.
It was a hot day, so started off with drinks.
I had the malteser milkshake which tasted nice and malty while my friend had a mocktail.
As I plan to go to DB and Central again, I decided to have oysters and ribs which are exclusive here.
For oysters, I had 2 Irish and 1 South African because Irish oysters tend to have a strong taste.
The Irish were fresh and strong as expected complimented nicely by the red wine vinegar.
For meats, had the ribs which was in a BBQ Guinness sauce.
The meat was tender and came off the bone.
Also had the mac n cheese because who doesn't love mac n cheese.
Finished with the Irish cream brulee pudding which was a great ending.
Will check out McSorley's at DB sometime.

[Review 6718] Always my favourite @ Pololi

Shop C, G/F, 58-64 Paterson Street, Food Street, Fashion Walk, Causeway Bay

Since Pololi opened their first branch in Central, they have always been my favourite Hawaiian joint.
There have been other joints trying to get in the game but it just doesn't taste as good as Pololi.
As I was still hungry after dinner, I went here for spam musubi.
On this visit, I got a freshly made one which tastes so damn good because the rice is hot and the spam is so tasty.
Although the musubi was soft, it held together.

[Review 6717] Chinese beef pie @ 自家麵 Home Noodles

Was captivated by the flyer showing this delish Chinese beef pie.
There are a few different pies to choose from.
I chose the beef and onion as it sounded similar to the English beef and onion pie and I thought it would be interesting to see if there are any differences.
When it came, it was flakey and round like a hamburger slit open in the middle and filled with beef and onions.
The pastry was spot on as it was baked just right and not oily.
However, the beef which I assume is beef according to the menu turned out mostly chewy tendons and elastic translucent bits.
I didn't really finish it off because every mouthful turned out to be that stuff.
