Truffle is getting cheap these days that you can now get scrambled eggs with truffle for breakfast.
Decided to try the dark chocolate soft-serve as everybody was saying how good it was.
The chocolate soft-serve was strong and not too sweet but not the chocolate flavour that I was looking for as I felt that the cocoa taste was too powdery.

Service was great but the restaurant itself was just too claustrophobic and the people were so bloody noisy.
Was given soup as soon as I sat down.
The soup was hot and the taste was pretty good.
The hainan chicken was ok but not the best for Michelin as it was a bit dry and the rice was not tasty.
Also had the noodles which were also tasteless but was made slightly better after adding the condiments.
Th strange thing was that they were not seating people downstairs in the official part of the restaurant but on the 1st floor which is not really part of the restaurant.

Food was good and you could feel their sincere passion.
The only thing that it lacked was speed, the food came mega slow and I didn't like the drinks as they tasted weird and artificially.
The butterfly Jasmine tea was strange as it had milk in it.
I am not a fan of pancakes in Hong Kong, but when these were bought over, you could smell that it was good and they were soft and fluffy.
The Vegetarian burger was the typical rice and veg patty and the fries were quite nice as they were crispy with fluffy potato in the middle.

A few years ago, Starbucks had the Yoghurt Frap but I didn't try it because when I asked them they said it was yoghurt powder and not real yoghurt. Anyway, the Yoghurt Frap was launched again this year and it was peach and apricot so I decided to try it as I like these fruits. The taste was quite nice and not too sweet but as they used yoghurt powder, it just tasted like froyo and Yakult.
Perhaps, fresh yoghurts go bad quickly hence they used yoghurt powder.

Starbucks Puddings have been successful and now they have the new ube flavour.
In the past, they had caramel, Sakura, Green Tea, Chocolate and other flavours in Japan.
This time I had the new ube pudding but they didn't have the sleeve label so I wasn't able to see what ingredients were inside.
The ube pudding was smooth and not too sweet but the ube flavour was not that strong.

Similar to the Purple Potato Tart, there were purple potato cubes in it.

Overall, it was quite a nice silky pudding contrasted by the cubes of purple potato.

Previously tried this cart noodle joint in Kowloon City.
They specialize in cart noodles with a choice of herbal broths.
Tried this new branch of Yung Kee to see if there was any difference.
As it was new, there are only three broths : Pork broth, Vegetarian Mushroom and White pepper.
Tried all three and each one is very different.
The white pepper one can be very peppery while the vegetarian one is very sweet so the pork bone broth is rather neutral.
For the noodles, the thick ones were the best.

I have always wanted to try this place because of the mountain yam noodles.
There are various broths you can choose from just like cart noodles and then you choose the toppings.
I chose the spicy Sichuan broth which was very spicy.
The noodles were thin and absorbed the broth nicely but sadly the broth was sweet as well as spicy so it was nasty.
