I love steak and now there is another steak place in Central.
Steak Bar is located in LFK where Sodam used to be.
There are various of cuts and styles to choose from like Fried steak.
I chose the flat iron which is a delicious chunk of steak!
It comes with rice, sides and a salad.
I had it medium rare so it was seared nicely whilst red in the middle.
The best thing was that there was so much myglobin, the reason I love steak so much.

The only thing that spoiled it was the big tendon which I didn't eat, otherwise top marks.
The staff thought I didn't know how to cut it and offered to slice it for me but I was actually avoiding the tendon.
In UK, they would happily change it for you but this is Hong Kong so I didn't bother with them.

Caffe Kenon has been in HK for agessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.They keep moving about but this location seems to suit them.
Tried them before when they were at Tai Yau Plaza and the service there was rather poor.
At this joint, they'd rather you not go in because it seems that they'd rather not have people.
Tried the egg and ham sandwich which was nice and cold because it was a ready to go thing.
Despite being cold, the egg was still good but I didn't like the tacky ham which I threw away.

Spotted this joint as I was crossing the road.
Initially I thought it was two restaurants but it was one restaurant serving cart noodles and on the side they have bahn mi baguettes as well.
The cabinet of baguettes looked promising. The regular costs HKD39 and the large costs HKD70.
There is a vegetarian version available.
The bahn mi was very crispy and airy so crumbs went everywhere!!!
The fillings were the usual pate, pork, pickles, coriander chili etc.
I loved the pickles because they were really refreshing so I might come back again for it.
Hopefully they will serve pho as well because there is a logo for it.

A1 Bakery is possibly the first bakery in Hong Kong to sell Ruby chocolate cakes.
Prior to that, I've had Ruby Chocolate in the form of Nestle Kitkat and Hot Ruby Chocolate Drink.
Both were fantastic as it tastes a bit like raspberry but better.

The Ruby Choc Cake I got from A1 was not in its best shape as the plastic did not cover the cake properly and the sponge area was soggy.
Apart from the soggy sponge part, it tasted how Ruby chocolate should but the mousse in the middle was a little too sweet.

Thank you my dear foodie friends who arranged a fab meal here.I love meat so I got all my meat cravings satisfied especially my thirst for Myoglobin!!!!!!
The ribs are as good as always because the Smoky bbq sauce is fantastic.

For beef lovers, there is a choice of US Prime Rib or Short Rib.
For steak lovers, US Prime Rib is the ultimate choice just like the American steak houses.
The steak was soft and juicy and the edges were roasted evenly.

The rib is meatier with a nice roasted flavour on the outside.It really depends on your mood that day, sometimes I like the Prime Rib and sometimes I like the short rib as the textures and tastes are very different.

We also shared the mussels which are a must as the mussels are springy and sweet in this creamy sauce which is great complimented with their bread.

I was surprised their Uni pasta was just as good.

I was going to try this a while ago but one of the staff was not really friendly so tried the branch in Kwun Tong first which also did juices.
As they put sugar in it from the Kwuntong experience, I made sure I didn't want sugar this time round.

Ordered the tomato juice and orange juice.
This time the guy almost got it right but he put damn ice in it because he thought it would taste disgusting so the tomato juice tasted watered down!
The orange juice was ok, the oranges they used were very sweet so the taste was very sweet.

Compared to the Kwuntong joint, this shop is about half the size.

Obviously I was lured here by church food lol!
It brings me memories of my nursery school at All Souls Nursery in UK.
I remember chopping up carrots for vegetable soup and then queuing up for it.
Anyway, it turns out this is a tea joint with a corner at the back where you can drink it.
Ordered the green tea which was quite thick and syrupy, it was stronger than Jasmine and the aroma was seriously like PRITT stick!
