 This food joint has been around for god knows how long and they serve a good variety of local dishes and snacks.
Tried the fried treasures before which were really good but rather expensive compared to the city.
This time I spotted boxes of fried fish which looked good so I got a box costing HKD38 which is quite expensive when I was expecting it to be around HKD35.
There were 9 fishes in the box.

Took them home and reheated them a bit in the microwave and they were good as expected.
The fish were slightly salted and the skin was crispy and tasty.

As I had some ham and cheese, decided to get some croissants to go with it.
At Yamazaki, they had these mini croissants so got a few to try.
They were a bit dry and hard so after reheating them for it a bit they were crunchy all over.
The taste was ok but the margerine/butter they had used has gone off a little bit.

I was attracted here because of the name.

When you go inside, there is a cute contrast of chairs, one side is Marilyn Monroe and the other side was this cute doll thing which made it feel modern and not a Sichuan place.The menu had lots to choose from and it was quite affordable.

Had the Spicy chicken which was rather bony and garlicky.



The Spicy platter was very spicy with chicken feet, chicken wings and intestines.

The balls were just the usual balls topped with Sichuan spices.

The star of the show was the liangpi which only cost HKD26.
It has to be one of my favourites so far because the noodles they use are springy and elastic like long sheets of rice rolls clumped together.
The sauce that it was tossed in was spicy with different tones of spices coming from it.

Will definitely be back for more Liangpi!

I have always wanted to try this cute little bar but the location is rather inconvenient as you have to cross 3 sets of traffic lights to get here.
Inside it is nice and cosy.
They serve food as well as beverages.

When you sit down, you are given some snacks.

For drinks, decided to go for the mocktails as I was having dinner afterwards.




As the third one wasn't available, ordered the first two.

[Detoxify] Pineapple juice, Apple Juice, Coconut Water, Fresh Mint



[Very Berry] Raspberry, Strawberry, blueberry, mint, fresh cream, orange and cranberry.

Both were refreshing in different ways and served in such instaworthy presentations.
The berries on both drinks were delicious.
To summarize, WTF is a nice little getaway when you are stuck between Causeway Bay and Wanchai!

A while ago was given these cookies from a foodie friend.Isabelle is quite popular in Hong Kong and each box is conveniently wrapped for giving away as gifts.
The contents inside:
There were a good assortment of cookies inside but my favourite was the Taiwanese style shortcake.
It was slightly chewy in a lovely butter shortcrust and it was not too sweet.

There is a lot of competition in Kowloon City for food so restaurants have to maintain high standards or serve something different to be in the game.
Discovered Pavia the other day so decided to go there for dinner one evening.
The dinner dishes were quite impressive as they had Raclette cheese and Ossobucco which you wouldn't expect in Kowloon City.
Unfortunately, I was on diet so only had the Fresh New Zealand mussels in White wine sauce.
Bread is given before the meal.
The New Zealand mussels were indeed fresh with a lovely springy texture.
It was a little salty but all good and they were HUGE!
Will definitely be back for the other special items.

I love Sichuan food so came here because the decor looked nice and they had so many fish dishes.As well as the lovely decor, it was very spacious located on the 1st floor of Richmond Plaza.

I had my eyes on the egg white balls because of the taro filling but when I found out it was taro icecream in the middle I decided not to try it as I wasn't expecting icecream so had soup instead.

Here was what we ordered:
I love fish so ordered this one out of their fish dishes because sole fish is used.



It was definitely delicious as it wasn't too spicy and definitely silky and boneless but just a tad salty.
There were enoki mushrooms, julienne Celtuce roots and Sichuan Potato noodles in the dish as well.
The potato noodles were slightly different in appearance to the ones I have come across since they were white which looked like Udon.

Next were the fiery dan dan noodles which were spicier than expected but in terms of portion it was quite big.


Finished with the soup which was silkie chicken with wolfberries.
It had a strong wolfberry taste.

Definitely coming back as I still havent tried the other poached fish dishes yet.
