I love potatoes and cheese so decided to try the Baked Chicken Potato with Creamy Cheese Sauce.
I was disappointed with the potato slices because they were crunchy and not even soft despite they were already sliced thinly.
The chicken beneath was hard and chewy, not tender as advertised and the creamy sauce contained quite a fair bit of salt.
Overall, a waste of money and a vegetarian version would probably taste better.

Only went here because I saw a picture of Hainan Chicken served in a coconut.
For HKD58, it was quite expensive.
When it came, it was slightly different but still looked good.
The only complaint was the chicken was a bit raw and the rice was hard.
Everything was bland so the sauce did it justice.

After trying the CWB branch of Fung Shing, I decided to try the Sheung wan branch as it is much more convenient.
I love this branch because it feels old and basically the vibes in Sheung wan are much nicer.
The menu is pretty much the same.
Started with the orange intestines and jellyfish.

I am not a fan of intestines but the jellyfish was generous, each slice was chunky and fat.

Next were the traditional golden money chicken.
The slice of liver was velvety and the roast pork was meaty however I left out the slice of lard a usual.

Prawn Toasts are a must:

For the mains, had the fish in two ways, stir fried and fried on top of brocoli.

Also had the scrambled egg which tasted better than the CWB branch.
Vegetables were delicious as they were tender cooked in a delicious broth.
Overall, this is my favourite branch as I like the location and staff!

Went here because it strangely served Peking Duck Rolls for HKD20.
The prices were quite affordable so ended up having some chilled noodles for HKD25 and a drink which was only HKD50.
The duck was a bit disappointing as the wrap was like the bing crepe pastry and the hoisin sauce was not strong enough.
Basically Mr bing does it better.
Next were the chilled noodles which are freshly tossed in the Sichuan sauces and seasoning.

The spiciness was just right with a tad of msg and it wasn't too oily.
Overall the noodles fared better.
Finished with Lemon Tea.

A while ago Arome Bakery launched these Ramune Soda Lactic Acid cake series which looked rather modern.
There is the Ramune Soda Lactic Acid Sliced Cake or the Ramune Soda Lactic Acid Roll Cake so I got the sliced cake because the only difference is that it had jam in it.

It had a hard biscuit base which I didn't like but the rest was ok, there was a layer of jelly in the middle, some jam, a thin layer of cake and yoghurt mousse!
This is Hong Kong style cake for you, there is always less of the cake than the mousse and it always has a biscuit base!
I think the roll probably tastes better as there is more roll to filling.

Went here randomly and saw these cream puffs so decided to get them.
There were big and small ones.
The cream puffs were not too sweet but the cream was disgusting as it was synthetic and stiff.
Anyway, I deeply regretted more than one.
Also had to get a bottle of HKD10 water to wash it down.

Only went in because it was hot outside.
There is an English menu.
Settled for the fishballs and cuttlefish balls with noodles.
I didn't really like the broth because it was really sweet and there were lots of dried garlic which ruined it because the garlic was stronger than anything else.
As for the balls, I preferred the fishballs which were softer while the cuttlefish balls were chewy and too bouncy for my liking.
Quite pricey for a bowl of noodles that were tasteless.
