As well as V Walk and TST, you can now find  attakai kokoro in Yuen Long.
The shop is bigger and better as they serve local snacks as well as drinks.

I had the avocado jasmine which was an interesting combination.
I didn't like it as it tasted like watered down avocado in the sense the it was the creaminess diluted with jasmine tea whilst there was this savory and sweetness in the taste.
Not my cup of tea.

Not a popular spot so this restaurant is nice and quiet during festivals but probably worse off now!
Anyway, the lobster efu noodles were very salty while the fish was steamed for too long so it was dry.
At the end of the banquet, you get given fruit and red bean dessert.

There are always queues at this restaurant but that day there wasn't so went in.
We were taken to a table but it took ages for them to clear the table.

By the time it was cleared, we ordered but waited forever for the food to come.

The roast pork was burnt while the noodles in the broth were soggy.
The dimsum was oily and cold.
As well as the roast pork noodles, everything was sold out which they didn't tell us.

Walked past one day and saw roast chicken in the cabinet.It was definitely an odd sight on the dark side of Kowloon because the crowd is mainly locals so who would buy it.
Anyway being curious went in and it was labelled HKD50!!!

Sadly I already had lunch so couldn't tuck in a whole spring chicken.
Went back another day and I was too early as they don't come out the oven until 3pm!
As well as the timing, it has been difficult to visit Prince Edward due to the current situation.

Finally went on another day at the right time when they had just come out from the oven.
Had I been half and hour later, the chicken would have got dehydrated in the oven so eating chicken is all about timing.

I was quite pleased with the chicken for hKd50.
The chicken was moist and springy while the golden chicken skin was delicious.

Tried these noodles ages ago.
At that time they didn't come in individual packets which makes them prone to humidity etc.
Now they are packaged and clearly labelled.
Tried the truffle one and porcini which is thin and thick.

Porcini noodles:
 0 讚好

Truffle noodles:
 0 讚好



Both were convenient and quick to eat, all you do is add hot water and let the noodles soften for a bit and they are ready to eat.
I decided to have mine with abalone and fishmaw so plonked them on top!

Only went here because of the drink that comes in a plastic can with a ring pull lid.
Unfortunately, you can only choose certain drinks so I got the pineapple soy milk slush.
Despite asking for it not so sweet, the drink tasted super super sweet and syrupy.
It tasted better after diluting it with milk.

Duddell's is a famous restaurant that opened a few years ago but I still hadn't tried it.
There is a new branch at the airport which happened to be on my path.

As they were serving omnipork dumplings I decided to try them.

The crispy mochi pastry on the outside was actually quite nice and reminded me of dimsum in London but they were slightly oily.
The big disappointment was the filling, I had all three and there were no signs of omnipork in them at all.
