The best food I have ever eaten, although its simple chicken and chips/Arabic rice.
Every bit of it was dreamily delicious. The chicken is tender and tasty, its rice is the best, very minuscule pieces of carrot and herbs gently giving the rice aromatic flavour.
The coleslaw is also good, gently flavoured with salad sauce, not salad cream.
The fries were great too, topped with gorgeous spices, which reminded me McDonalds shake shake fries with curry powder.
There was also some white sauce, which I was not quite sure what it was, but added excitement to my meal. It was pure white, fluffier than mayonnaise with a slight garlic touch to it. That sauce was good, I wouldn't mind having more to dip my chips or to go with rice or the bread. It turns out to be Middle eastern style garlic sauce (thoom/toum).
The bread was also good too, cute in size and piping hot.
For their drinks they also have a wide variety such as Almond milk in the cans, Apricot juice, Lemon and mint.

[Review 378] Combo combo @ 甜蜜子甜品店
甜蜜子甜品店 22/08/2009

Last time I came, they didn't have the combo, so this time i ordered the taro and coconut combo, it was quite pretty two colours together.
The staff and service was still as good as last time, I shall be back for more when I come to TST again.

[Review 377] creepy crawly crab in the ghost house @ 燒魂屋 (紅磡)
燒魂屋 (紅磡)
紅磡庇利街34-36A號地下
G/F, 34-36A Bailey Street, Hung Hom
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/creepy-crawly-crab-in-the-ghost-house-e2023280
Finally got to try this massive creepy spikey crab, the highlight of my choice in choosing this place.
The crab was fresh and juicy, the crab meat was slightly translucent and pure white in colour, with slight elasticity in texture.
The restaurant name is also quite interesting too, if I am not wrong, it means to burn the ghost house, which should be fun for a halloween dinner.
The rest of the food is ok, the sashimi tastes like the standard sashimi, the grilled satays were great, nice and juicy.
The soup-pot with tofu was good, not too oily or strong, it also contained enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushroom.
The fried oysters and prawn came with my favourite Japanese mayonnaise.

[Review 376] Fried bananas and fried oysters @ 嵐山料理

This is my second visit, and the food is consistently good, last time
i tried the prawns, and fried cheeses.
I came back this time for the fried oyster and banana.
Banana:
Presented like a banana fritter drizzled with blackcurrant sauce, the batter was light and thin, and there were 3 pieces in a portion.
The banana itself was naturally sweet, and the blackcurrant sauce was tangy, giving it a good taste combined together.
Before I tried it, I thought the sauce would have been too sweet therefore ruining it, but it turned out better than anticipated.
Oyster:
The oyster was covered in cutlet and appeared rather thin, the oysters were fresh and tasted strong, juicy and not mushy at all.
Overall they both tasted good, and the standard has kept, and the oil they used has been changed often, hence not ruining the food.

[Review 375] Mixed chinese @ Festive China 又一棧 (九龍塘)
Festive China 又一棧 24/08/2009
九龍塘達之路80號又一城LG1層29號舖
Shop 29, LG1, Festival Walk, 80 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/mixed-chinese-e2023243
Ok Chinese food is not my expertise, but I think this place is meant to serve Guangzhou food, yet most of the dishes look Shanghainese to me.
Anyway, as I am not sure, I will just comment on the food.
All food was presented very well, sufficient portions, the duck was not that fat, and plenty of meat on it.
The tofu was delicate and sliced into very thin slices but hard to pick up each slice individually intact.
The fish was crispy and tastes like the sweet and sour fish at Golden shanghai restaurant.
There were many slices of abalone underneath the rich gravy, however I thought it was tinned abalone.

[Review 374] Ox-tail curry @ 風味園 (旺角)
風味園 (旺角)
旺角通菜街113-115號地舖
G/F, 113-115 Tung Choi Street, Mong Kok
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/ox-tail-curry-e2023241
Usually when i have ox-tail it is either cooked in red-wine sauce or some braised style, but this restaurant offers curry so I tried it.
The ox-tail was quite soft, and it was piping hot, especially served in a clay pot.
There was some confusion with the staff there, one wanted to give me a bowl to eat, but the other wanted to give me plate.
For me, a plate is much easier, and the food can cool down easier, and there is more room for me to de-bone the ox-tails.
The dish came with soup and drink, so it was ok.

[Review 373] Sharks fin dumpling @ 福記 (西貢)

西貢福民路高富樓32號地舖
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/sharks-fin-dumpling-e2022755
There is nothing worth mentioning in general regarding their food, however their Sharks fin dumpling are quite good. Thin dumpling skin, and steamed just right that it dosnt stick to the box.
Sometimes if I arrive late in the day, it would be sold out, or only one portion is a available.
