Last time tried the whoopies so this time tried the blueberry puff.
The whoopie pie definitely tastes better, the blueberry puff was a bit artifical in flavour.
The cream is lilac and there are some real blueberries in it, however it was too sweet.

[Review 1198] Natrual froyo in fairytale kingdom @ Kings N Cream
03/07/2011
Kings N Cream
旺角廣華街1號G23號舖
Shop G23,1 Kwong Wah Street, Mong Kok
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/natrual-froyo-in-fairytale-kingdom-e2179300
This froyo shop is situated at the backstreets of Mong Kok where they sell airsoft guns.
I was attracted by the design of the shop and the massive toy soldier which reminded me of London, Christmas and fairytale stories.
I really liked the tree on the glass window at the front, a bit like a fairytale story.
When I walked past this shop, the Logo and fonts reminded me of the King Parrot group, I wonder if they are they related?
They basically sell ice-cream, froyo and some cakes.
I tried the froyo, the taste was really nice and natural, and not sweet.
It resembles the yogurt at appollo but not as stiff and icy.
The yogurt seemed to contain bits of grains similar to wheatgerm but I didnt know what it was.
I got peach as a topping and it was amazing, it wasnt syrupy sweet even though it was canned peaches.
So overall, I felt the froyo served here was healthy and I'll be back for more.

[Review 1197] Sakusaku black vinegar chicken burger @ MOS Burger (旺角)

Shop 01, Level 4A, Langham Place, 8 Argyle Street, Mong Kok

After trying the lemon chicken burger, this time I was back for the black vinegar chicken burger.
The chicken was really crispy and there was lots of black vinegar sauce.
The taste of the fried chicken was exactly the same as the chicken in black vinegar sauce at Ootoya.
To finish it off, had a nice cup of ginger ale.

[Review 1196] Indonesian Fried Rice and Red bean Tofu @ 大快活 Fairwood

大快活 Fairwood

https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/indonesian-fried-rice-and-red-bean-tofu-e2179297
Got the Indonesian fried rice with chicken because it looked delicious on the product shot.
The real dish turned out as good as the product shot, however it was tasteless and the chicken was dry.
The tofu which I thought was some special tofu, was actually tofu from those plastic boxes.
You can see the imprint of the box on the totu.
The red beans and condensed milk made it too sweet.

[Review 1195] Roast Suckling Pig @ 多多餐廳 More & More Cafe and Restaurant

多多餐廳 More & More Cafe and Restaurant
銅鑼灣堅拿道西10號地下H號舖
Shop H, G/F, 10 Canal Road West, Causeway Bay
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/roast-suckling-pig-e2179296
Went here a long time ago, but didnt know the name of that restaurant then, but it is near Times Square by the flyover.
It doesnt appear to be a restaurant that specialises in Roast meats but there is a roast meat counter at the front.
Found out about this shop because some people were staying at a hotel round the corner so they just got some roast suckling pig, its fairly expensive but it tastes really good, the fat and meat proportion is just right.
Next time I'll remember to bring a camera.

[Review 1194] Subway's egg and cheese muffin @ Subway
Subway
灣仔石水渠街64-70A號富樂樓地下
G/F, Fu Lok Building, 64-70A Stone Nullah Lane, Wan Chai
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/subways-egg-and-cheese-muffin-e2179111
Subway is famous for subs, but this time I got the muffin, there are three fillings you can choose: egg and cheese, egg and ham or egg and bacon.
The egg was different to the egg they served a while ago for breakfast, the one I had before was scrambled egg, and this time it was crushed egg and mayonnaise.
I was asked what sauces I would like but for an egg muffin, I felt that salt and pepper was the best choice for it.
After saying no, the staff put some mayonnaise on it.
Overall, it tasted better than what I expected, perhaps there was too much mayonnaise, because the egg itself already had mayonnaise in it.

[Review 1193] Husband rolled from prawn and pork @ 蝦豬餅 Husband
30/06/2011
蝦豬餅 Husband
大澳吉慶街41號
41 Kut Hing Street, Tai O
https://www.openrice.com/zh/hongkong/review/husband-rolled-from-prawn-and-pork-e2179110
Havent got a clue why its called Husband roll, but maybe the way its called in chinese sounds similar to husband.
Prawn pork roll in chinese is pronounced Hah jue beng, and the Chinese way of pronoucing Husband is "Hah si Ban", so maybe they thought it was similar.
Anyway, the husband roll is basically a roti with pork, lettuce and prawn paste filling.
The roti is flaky and crispy on the outside.
The prawn paste wasnt salty at all.
However, if it was chicken instead of pork, I would have liked it more, as I find pork a bit too fatty, and the roti was slightly greasy.
