This restaurant is located on Jaffe Road.
I never stopped by before because it was too much effort, there were too many people on this road, let alone traffic and second hand smoke.

Finally tried it for the sake of trying it!

Roast pork belly and BBQ pork:

The taste is better than it looks because I thought the BBQ pork looked too lean and dry, but it was quite soft.
The roast taste was just right and not too salty.

Soup:

Chinese soup again! But it was quite funny that I found an intact pigs trotter in the soup.

Although the food here is good, it takes ages and they do not seem to like takeaway orders because everytime I get it there is sauce everywhere from outside the box to the bag!

White fish curry:

The sauce is really delicious and tastes the same as the sauce at Satay King.
Basically you can choose chicken, pork or fish curry and they just put the curry sauce in the box and add the meat that you order.
This time I chose fish.
The fish was really nice, soft and boneless.
There was lots of spring onions on top of the fish as garnishing.
The curry sauce was really delicious with the rice but it was quite fattening.

I have not tried this place before so decided to try it.
Ordered the BBQ pork with duck and rice HKD25 each.
I asked for ginger and onion sauce but the guy was reluctant to give it.
As for the portion size it was not that generous if you compare it to other stalls at the same price.

The BBQ pork was actually quite nice, it was not sweet and the pork was lean but not tough.

I thought this joint would be fast and easy, ie choose what you want from the cabinet, pay for it and go.
So I chose the fried chicken drumstick because I saw the box there.

But after I ordered I had to wait for the chicken leg to be fried.

Chicken leg with rice:

I was surprised the rice had sauce on top, it was brightly coloured orange sauce which was tasteless.
The chicken fared better, it had crispy skin and juicy meat.
However it was difficult to enjoy the meal with wooden chopsticks and a plastic spoon.

Soup:
 0 讚好

I often forget and neglect the soup. The soup here was quite nice.
The taste of dried squid in the soup was strong but there was also some slight PFC taste too from the PFC bowl.

I am surprised that only one shop is listed on OpenRice when there are four branches, two in Tseung Kwan O, one in Lai Chi Kok and one in Kwun Tong according to the bag!

Anyway, saw this big bowl of ark clams, so decided to get one as I was craving for this metallic taste.

Ark clam (akagai):

I love blood clams but they always give me severe poisoning, so the I got the ark clam because it tastes similar and hope I do not get food poisoning from it.
The taste was really nice, the metallic taste was strong.
The texture was slightly crisp.

I have not had these in ages so decided to get one from Tai Cheong at Diamond Hill.

The glutinous rice mochi was stuck to a piece of lotus leaf with a black eye bean stuck to the top of it.
The mochi pastry was made from glutinous rice and flour, however I did not like it because it was slightly sweet, the black eye bean filling was delicious because it was in puree form and extremely silky.
There was lots of five spice powder in it.

Saw these cute looking items and when I got closer, it was labeled cookie cheesecakes but I think they meant cookie cheese cups because it says cup in Chinese.
They are quite small.
Felt a bit peckish so decided to try one.

Cookie cheese cups:

Basically they taste like the egg tarts with the shortcrust pastry filled with cake and cheese mixed together.
The taste was really nice and tastes nothing like a cookie.
The cheese was slightly sour mimicking the real cheesecake taste and it was not heavy at all.
The top of these cheese cups looks really similar to a real cheesecake!
