This joint is always filled with people at lunch.Decided to check it out and the staff were warm and friendly.


The food was ok, the egg was the best.

Egg with prawns and tomato:
 0 讚好

The egg was really good because it was light and fluffy but it was different to how I interpreted it to be.

I was expecting prawn and egg in tomato sauce and not fresh cubes of tomato, which didn’t really give it any tomato flavour.

Spicy chicken:


Basically the chicken was chicken bones, chopped up chicken wings and joints that were chunky so it looked like a dish of chicken.

Taste was ok but not spicy enough and it was bit oily.

$48 was reasonable for the egg but a bit pricey for chicken bones with not much chicken on it.

Previously Honey Granny only served softserve but now they have drinks and icedogs as well.
For drinks there were quite a lot of options such as chocolate honey.
Had the honey coffee.
Basically it tasted like canned grass jelly water mixed with honey infused into it.

Maxim’s have launched a chestnut cake that is just right for autumn.

There are three delicious layers in the middle, the top is chestnuts mash topped with chestnuts. In the middle of the cake is creamy chestnut mousse and chestnut puree sandwiched in a chocolate sponge cake on top of a crispy chocolate base. There was a good balance of filling to the cakes.

As well as the ricerolls I tried mocks sharks fin soup with Chinese ham which I really liked because it had a strong taste.
It was rich and tasted like gravy so on the second visit I asked if I could have e-fu noodles in them and the noodles tasted really nice because the noodles do not go soft and it hangs the soup well.
Basically if you like gravy, it is like having noodles tossed in gravy with pieces of Chinese ham.

For those who love burgers and Korean food, this is the place to go because they have burgers and quesadillas with a Korean twist with Kimchi.

They also have Korean noodles, salad and fried chicken.

Very hot chicken wings!!

For non beef eaters, they have fish and chicken burgers.

The fish was my favourite because it was like a fish cake but I would have liked more fish in the patty.

As for beef, there are many options depending on whether you like it cheesy or spicy.

I liked the monthly special which was a fried burger!

In the middle there is a fried egg.

For salads we had the salad jar which was appetizing and colourful containing my favourite purple salad.

We finished with a grapefruit drink that had fresh pink grapefruit bits in it.

It was an honor to attend a dinner held by Orbis and Novotel where participants are blindfolded and led to their tables to enjoy a wonderful meal.
The event makes us appreciate the gift of sight and experience the troubles and inconvenience that blind people run into such as pouring drinks, going to buffets and so on.
We can support blind people by donating to Orbis and even a small donation helps.
There are not many photos as we were obviously blindfolded but we were allowed to take off the blindfold for the dessert which was a strawberry cake that was light and sweet with a fresh strawberry on top and a thick layer of strawberry mousse.

Tried this place because I have not tried it.

Sat down and the
table had his beef oil smell which was consistent with the beef oil smell of the
noodles.

After eating you still had this stench in your hands.

The beef and noodles were really oily with a strong beef oil
smell and the beef was tasteless but you were left feeling thirsty after eating
the noodles because there was MSG in it.
