I have always wanted to try this stylish restaurant and there is no other restaurant like this in HK.

Bibo is a modern French restaurant with artistic vibes.

We had La Tartine Beef tartar with baeri caviar and Les Mararons (Rose, chocolate and yuzu).
The beef tartar is good for sharing because it is quite heavy.

The seaweed butter they had for bread was really nice.

The macarons were divine especially the chocolate because the filling was extremely light and velvety.

Went here for lunch and saw this new sandwich which made it hard to decide what to eat because I was contemplating between maris and this new sandwich.
In the end I got the sandwich.
I just assumed it was going to be spam and poached egg as shown on the picture but there was coleslaw as well which paired quite nicely with the spam.
It was decent coleslaw that was not cloyingly sweet and it was light with a nice crunch.

Now you can get your hands on making your own.
On Saturday afternoons you can create your own edible canvas which is much more fun than looking at art.
Each Saturday will feature a different theme, the one I did was inspired by Mondrian incorporated with my style.

A crispy pork knuckle with succulent meat and deliciously roasted potatoes but the Sauerkraut was too soft and not tart enough for my liking.

This was my favourite, the veal was soft and tender in a deliciously crispy coating.

Hazelnut creme brulee:
I was expecting more German choices like strudel and blackforest cakes instead of cream brulees and cheesecakes.
They did have the blackforest cake but they are for big events like birthdays etc and you have to order the whole cake.

For drinks I had the pineapple soda because it was some German brand.

As I have said, NORMAL cream is hard to get in HONG KONG without being spiked with sugar and whatever weird stuff they put into it.
Anyway, I saw this cream roll at A1 bakery and Das Gute, which was launched to celebrate some 30 year thing.
If you look at the roll, there is evidently so much more cream than the cake itself.
The cream was really good as expected in Hong Kong standards, but just ordinary cream in the UK because you can just get some milk from the supermarket and whip it yourself.
I didn’t expect much of the cake because it was just the typical sponge cake.
What I really regretted was getting some decent scones for the excess cream so I wasted quite a bit of it because there was too much cream.
Frankly $138 is quite expensive for a roll consisting of 80% cream.

They all taste the same because, each different dessert uses the same Charcoal sponge and Purple sweet potato paste.
The dessert cup was just that with the usual fine sand texture in the charcoal sponge and purple sweet potato paste.
I need not bother trying the cake because it will taste the same.
