I was intending to go to KNEAD but something I wanted was sold out so I tried to satisfy my sandwich cravings here.
It was good there was a tailor made option with your choice of fillings but unfortunately they changed the bread supply which isn't as good as the bread they offered before.
The bread was too hard and chewy for my liking and the salad was too finely chopped up that it kept falling out.

If I hadn’t tried the noodles at the CWB branch, I wouldn’t have known that the noodles were that good.
They are healthy because they don’t use alkaline and the soup is MSG free.
WCK is the last restaurant in my mind because there are so many good eateries in Central.
Finally went here because it was raining so I was intending to have a bowl of wonton noodles.
However when I got there, they were doing afternoon tea sets and I couldn’t resist the stir fried noodles with beanshoots.
The noodles were as good as expected but they were cold despite steam coming off it.
I was still hungry after eating the noodles so I ordered the bowl of wonton noodles which came in a delicious broth.
The chili oil they had was very aromatic and not very spicy with some black bean taste to it.
In comparison to the CWB branch, I think the quality is better here.

I have always wanted to try this place because they have interesting detox combinations like the gumbo.
It was hard finding this restaurant on openrice because I thought it was not listed and there is no restaurant listed under Thyme.
I thought Thyme in Chinese was "bak lei heung" but the Chinese name for this place is "bak lei gui".
The guy looks scary but he is actually quite friendly.
Anyway finally got my juice combo of dill, okra, spinach and starfruit.
I couldn't really taste the spinach or okra but the starfruit and dill tasted nice together.

It never crossed my mind to ever dine at 粗菜館 because I thought it was just the usual Chinese fare until I recently tried their new restaurant in North Point.
I was at Kowloon City to try this new restaurant but as it was raining I went here instead.

The menu showed this delicious dace and black beans vegetable dish with glass vermicelli so I ordered it because I love black beans and glass vermicelli.

The menu didn't lie, it really did have glass vermicelli in it and it was really delicious because it absorbed the dace and black bean flavours.






For the other dish I had the Sichuan pig's liver which was just as good as the North point branch.

It was velvety with a fragrant Sichuan pepper taste and the sauce went deliciously with the rice.

I didn't know this branch existed otherwise I would have gone to this one instead of the one at Jardines Bazaar.
The waitresses are quite snappy if your a first timer but on my second visit she was friendlier.
For noodles, the flat rice noodles were the best choice because the rest are tasteless and don't absorb the soup.
Had the octopus tentacles, cuttlefish head and pig's blood.
Everything was as good as expected because the beef broth was strong.
The broth for the watercress tastes slightly different because it is not as sweet as the noodle broth.

I didn't know there were two branches of Wing Kee so I only went to this one.
This time I had beef tendons, cuttlefish head and pig's blood with flat rice noodles.
The broth had a strong beef taste but the pig's blood, cuttlefish head and beef tendon were too salty.

Every now and again shops always get relocated or close down within a few years, nothing can stay put for good in Hong Kong.
It is hard for people to have long term memories of anything so I don't blame people in Hong Kong for having short term memories.
I feel sorry for people who have alzheimer's or elderly who can only remember certain places because they will keep trying to go to a place that does not exist anymore.

Anyway, McCafe and McDs have moved to the corner of the mall, while the rest of the mall is being reorganized.

I had the mixed berries sundae waffle before at McDonalds Next.

The one I had here was better because it was not as sweet as it was just plain waffle and cream but overpriced.
