While everyone is feasting out, I decided to have a veggie Christmas Eve dinner with my friends here.

For Christmas, they have sets where you can choose the courses.

As there were three of us, we had a different main course each.

Started with soup and there was a choice of pumpkin or cauliflower.
I had the cauliflower which was light and blended with lots of cauliflower, the soup was quite big so it was quite filling.

The next course were the meatballs in a tangy tomato sauce.
They were quite bouncy in texture as well.

Here were the mains!!!!!
The turkey from UK strangely tasted like turkey.
The fish fingers were again a surprise!!!
They had that fish finger smell too and the inside looked realistic.

I liked the ranch dressing that came with it because it went nicely with the fries.


As usual, their spaghetti bolognaise is good and for Christmas there is a portobello mushroom in it as well.

I was quite full for dessert but it ended with a cheesecake topped with a mint chocolate on top.



Drinks are also included: coffee, lemonade or coffee.
(I wish there was tea  )

I love pandan so I went here for the pandan mille crepe.

The filling tasted a bit sour so I was given a fresh one which tasted normal.

As it was filled with so much cream, I found it a bit too heavy and it was synthetic cream so I didn't like it.

I would have liked it if it was their usual young coconut filled with pandan instead of layers of crepe, cream and pandan paste.

A bit overpriced for just  cream and crepe.

Last time I came here with friends and the door was already opened but this time I was early so I had to figure how to get in the restaurant myself which was a mystery opening that door.

It turns out there is a camouflaged button on the door handle.

Anyway, on this visit, there were some new dishes on the menu so here were the dishes we had.

Les pomme boheme:
deep fried truffle mashed potatoes.

They were crispy filled with fluffy mashed potatoes and fragrant truffle in the middle.

Taiyouran egg with a perfectly runny centre.

Les crevettes carabineros:

Spanish red prawn carpaccio served with Baeri caviar on cauliflower puree.
The red prawn carpaccio was flawless with the saltiness of the caviar and silky smooth cauliflower puree.

Le Pate en croute:

(homemade terrine with pistachio, foie gras and pork belly)
I found it a bit too meaty and heavy for my liking.

Le Boeuf de miyazaki:
This beef melts in your mouth so if this is your kind of thing then you will like it.

Le Homard Bleu de Robcoff:

This was lobster cooked in seaweed butter paired with buckwheat cooked like a risotto with crispy truffle.
The lobster was springy and fresh complemented by the healthy buckwheat.

For dessert, I had the cheese platter.

I love cheese especially French cheese and you get to choose four.

I was really excited when this opened because there used to be a good lobster noodle place but it closed down.

Anyway, here comes Dragon Noodles Academy where they specialize in lobster as well as noodles.

Inside the restaurant, it is almost like a Martial arts academy with Chinese weapons , Wingchun wooden dummy and food related to martial arts.

berry wintermelon:

Presented like a bunch of grapes these are balls of wintermelon soaked in berry sauce giving it a tangy berry flavour but also quite sweet.

cauliflower florets in yoghurt:

I thought this would be interesting so ordered it.

It was yellow and purple raw cauliflower florets in a refreshing yoghurt and I loved it because they had a nice crunch.

cucumber florets in lemon:

Another refreshing appetizer of cucumber that looks like it has been put through a pencil sharpener.

They were good with or without the lemon sauce.

lobster puff:


Similar to the usual white radish puff but filled with lobster so it was a posh version.

As well as this, there are other lobster themed items such as lobster dumplings, spicy tofu and lobster etc.

Whole Peking duck with pancakes:

The duck was served in a really good way because it is separated in three plates: crispy duck skin, pure duck meat and duck thigh which has skin attached.

There are three ways of eating it, duck skin dipped in raw cane sugar, duck meat with freshly garlic puree and duck with pancakes.

For the pancakes, you get some sesame paste and duck sauce where you use your martial art skills to swirl or spin the sauce dish so that they mix together.

After spinning/swirling it.

baby cabbage florets with ham:

Very photogenic cabbage florets in a strong ham broth.

Lobster tail noodle soup:

Noodles in a rich lobster broth that you won't want to share with anyone!~

$48 is quite reasonable for a shabu shabu.
You get noodles, beef and vegetables.
The taste was ok but I chose the wrong broth which ruined it.
The broth was too sweet for my liking.
This branch is small and cramped but close to the MTR station which is good,
