I am so glad Kee Wah Bakery took up this old building because everything in this shop fits in perfectly.
There are some black and white photos at the entrance of the old days and a lovely intricate model of the bakery and shops nearby.
At the other end of the shop you will find a bakery with fresh egg tarts and other items.
I got the eggtart because not all branches have egg tarts.
However the overseas KEE WAH branches in Canada and USA have them!
The crust was quite thick but flakey and the egg filling was not too sweet.

I regretted not trying the Reuben on the last visit so came here again!!

There were new drinks on the menu like the butterfly pea flower tea and this interesting osmanthus latte.

The cinnamon chocolate was very tempting so I had it because not many places pair cinnamon and chocolate together as a drink and it also had gingerbread syrup in it.

I requested for extra cheese and less beef because I just love cheese and my Reuben was so damn delicious, however the secret sauce was bit too spicy for me to handle because it had some sort of chili powder in it.

The cheese was just heaven, it remained squidgy to the last bite.

I wish they would just do a vegetarian Reuben which is basically a delish Grilled cheese sandwich.

My hot cinnamon chocolate was very addictive, a nice infusion of chocolate, cinnamon and gingerbread syrup.

My meal is just not complete without a cup of tea.

I went here again because I felt like having those delish pig trotters again.
Although the dumplings are the main seller, these trotters are damn delicious!
If you like soft and gelatinous black bean chicken feet, these trotters tastes exactly like that with an extra Sichuan spice to it.
I also had the tomatoes with sugar, I am not quite sure if I like it or not because it was literally tomatoes with sugar.
For the first time, I tried the pan fried lamb and leek dumplings but unfortunately the leek was old and dry so it ruined the dumplings.
Finished off with soymilk!

As an expat, it is really difficult getting good sandwiches or Western food in Kowloon but I was surprised the food here was good.

I am not sure if you can upgrade the fries but the roast beef panini came with fries but I had to order extra fries with sour cream because I like sour cream.

The fries with sour cream was good because the sour cream has been made light and airy possibly mixed with whipping cream judging by the way it melts into liquid.
The roast beef panini was a bit different because it was pastrami inside and the panini was crispy like baguette which was good, the best thing was the filling and sauces were minimalistic so I loved it.

It was not ruined by HK style sauces etc.

The buffalo wings were good too, crispy with a tangy sauce.

Sashimi dons are trending lately and quite pricey.I went here seeing reviews that this place is quite affordable but you have to stand there to eat.
The dons range from $68-108.
It was really difficult choosing a don because they all looked captivating but in the end I chose the black one because you don't often see it and I got some extra Salmon roe because I love Salmon roe.
There is sushi as well if you want something light.
Here was my black don which was stunning as expected!!
I didn't realize the portion was that big and I couldn't finish it all because the assorted sashimi on top is more than it looks, there is about a bowl of it there.

It was a mix of prawns, squid, flounder skirts and kinmedi which went nicely with the rice and secret black sauce, covered generously in black tobiko.Each mouthful was delightful with the popping tobiko (not to be confused with caviar).
The salmon roe was divine and popped with bursts of saltiness.
Finished with oolong tea to be healthy.
