Went here because this Thai joint has been here for ages.
You can always smell their grilled satays when you walk past.
The papaya salad was interesting and it had crab legs just like the ones in Thailand but it was very spicy.
The chicken was really good because it was silky and tender.
The vegetables had to be rinsed by soup because it was way too salty.
The amount of salt could probably be used to cook 10 dishes of vegetables.

It is difficult getting good paninis but the ones here are good because the panini and fillings are a match made in heaven and it depends on what you like.

Here they have a wide variety of quality hams and my favourite is Prague Ham so I chose that with edam cheese.

Also had the salmon which was good but in the end I regretted not choosing the Prague Ham and Brie because their ham and cheeses are that good.

Guys would probably need to order two Paninis because I ended up eating two

Finished off with Jasmine tea by Tea FORTE.

As a Brit, I love my pork sausages.
Anyway, tried some exotic Chinese sausages with a twist at Noodle and Dog!
I liked the spicy preserved black bean bean because you could really taste the black bean and Chinese olives.
The spiciness helped to balance out the heaviness of the sausage.
The unique Muichoi pork sausage was also good but it had too much fatty bits inside for my liking.

As an expat, there are not many good bakeries around for savoury puffs and sweet selections.

Here they had all my favourites such as spinach and feta puffs, cheese and leek puffs and these affordable donuts that cost $12.
The donuts seem to be supplied from somewhere because Crumbs sell them as well but at $19.

I really liked the donut because it was filled with jam and it was not too sweet with a thin icing.

Outdoor golf is not for me because it is too sunny and hot in Hong Kong, but here I can golf indoors with air conditioning.

Lunch is busy because lunch sets are $98 and up, packed with people working in the area.

After playing some golf, had dinner with some friends.

Chorizo and shrimp with garlic and chili salad:

It was a tasty salad because the shrimp was panfried with garlic and chili infused with chorizo flavour when the chorizo slices were cooked.

Pan seared Hokkaido scallops:

These sashimi grade scallops were big and sweet topped with mango salsa.

The crisp edges were flamed with brandy.

BBQ chicken wings:

The sticky glazed wings were flavourful marinated in their secret sauce and baked.

Slow cooked wagyu beef cheek with red wine sauce reduction:

This was my favourite because the beef cheeks were so soft and gelatinous in rich sauce.

There were some delicious potato slices beneath it.

Traditional British fish and chips:

This was moist chunky fish in beer batter.

French duck confit:

The duck confit was just right because the skin was crispy and the duck wasn't too salty paired with potato gratin and blueberry sauce.

A delicious apple crumble because the apples are stewed in vanilla and sugar.

It was topped with real custard.

Homemade brownie with icecream:

The brownie was soft and chewy with a nutty taste.

Went here for coffee with my friend.
Tried the Cascara tea ( Coffee cherry tea which is made from the dried skins of the coffee plant berries).
It was quite palatable and it had a faint bitter taste with a sour aftertaste.

Went here because that they had some good options for lunch such as grilled cheese, beef tourtiere and steak sandwich.

The beef tourtiere was not available yet so had the steak sandwich.

Started with some local beer which has a light taste compared to other beers.

The steak in the sandwich is wagyu skirt steak as stated on the menu.

I thought it was going a sandwich but it was a piece of toast topped with beef slices with cheese grilled on top.

There was delicious caramelized onions and sherry butter so it was very flavourful but I found the wagyu skirt steak a bit too fatty.
