Went to Singkee again because the food is good.
It was my third time trying this place so we had some different dishes.
Started with uni which was so big it was the like the size of a human tongue served with other fresh sashimi.

The clams in clear broth was my favourite because it was seasoned with salt and pepper bringing out the delicate flavours of the clams.
The glass vermicelli is the essence of the dish because it has soaked up the delicious broth.

Then there is crispy abalone which is coated in a lovely light coating infused with garlic, pepper and their secret spices which does not over power the natrual taste of the abalone.

Crispy rice vermicelli topped with lobster and cheese sauce:
This was my favourite because it was unique and different, the fried rice vermicelli actually tastes really good with the cheesy sauce.

Pudding:
I really liked this pudding especially the Yakult jelly because it was different!!
So far no other place in Hong Kong serves it.

Went here because I love durian.
I tried Musang and D24, although I liked D24 more, I think it was hard comparing which durian was better because one of the desserts was hot and the other cold.
Before trying the dessert, I started with the cheese snow cake which was made of rice for the pastry hence the pure white colour and it had a nice chew as well as a crisp surface.
Inside, it was oozing with a cheese sauce.

Then I had a snow cake filled with Musang durian.
The Durian tasted very strong but not very sweet, strangely I would describe it as a garlicky taste.

Next I had rolls filled with D24 which was more palatable than Musang because it was sweeter.
Again, the roll pastry was soft and elastic that it does not rip.

Comparing the two, I like D24 more but both the snow cakes and rolls are delicious.
Finished with a thick healthy avocado milkshake that was not sweetened.
They have savoury snacks as well which I will try like the squid stuffed with rice.

Went here because I love durian.
I tried Musang and D24, although I liked D24 more, I think it was hard comparing which durian was better because one of the desserts was hot and the other cold.

I don't know why but I just love Cumin so I was drawn here.
Cumin is normally paired with lamb and sprinkled on skewers which is just what this joint serves.
As well as the skewers, the rice with minced lamb sauce is a must order.
It was breathtaking watching him grill the meat and you can even feel the flames so I guess don't stand too close!
I wonder how he is going to cope with that heat later when the temperatures are going to reach 32 degrees C plus!!

As well as grilling the meats, it is then torched to ensure that hard to reach areas are evenly done.

Chicken wings stuffed with glutinous rice:
I am not keen on stuffed chicken wings but I loved this because it wasn't too oily or fat after the way they grilled and torched it.
The glutinous rice in the middle had a good flare of spice that gives it a good spice kick that doesn't linger.

To be honest, I found the lamb skewer and lamb chop quite similar but it depends if you prefer chunks of lamb or a juicy lamb rack.

Now to the star of the show, MINCED LAMB WITH RICE.
Looking very spicy with generous flakes of chili, I was fooled because it was not spicy at all and the minced lamb was so tasty and lean which was delicious with the rice.
If you mix the egg, it becomes even more heavenly with the richness of the egg yolk.
It would be great if they had an onsen egg which you could completely mix it in.
The courgette slices were sweet and tasty and I liked the way it was evenly cooked.

They have herbal teas in the fridge because the Chinese believe that herbal teas must be drunk after consuming some grilled food.

I love dining in Central and Wanchai in the evenings because some restaurants will be quieter.
Started with too mocktails which had a great fizz and not too sweet.

It was Joyce's birthday so this was her birthday cake, a black forest cake from Patisserie paid for by Smashingpumpkins.
He made a really good choice because it was the best black forest cake I have ever tried, you can really taste the alcohol and there were generous pieces of cherries in it.
The cream was delicious as well as the cake and chocolate shavings.
It would be good if they had a picture for this cake on their order form.
Also tried the honey cheesecake and green tea cheesecake.

Went here for afternoon tea to relax because I was fed up with blazing heat outside.
They have charging facilities and wifi so you can charge them while you're there.
I didn't feel like having a full tea set so I went for donuts which only cost $20 each.Got four flavours to share: custard donut, caramel nuts donut, chocolate donut and a strawberry donut.
There are two filled ones and two ring donuts which are topped with icing.

Vegetarian dimsum is common these days but not necessarily delicious.
I was expecting just the usual vegetarian dimsum but it turned out to be memorable and different.
Starting with the dimsum, it wasnt floury or plastic but tasty and even contained a few pieces of vegetarian sharks fin.
These were deep fried purple potato balls (jeandui) which are crispy on the outside with a soft mochi interior filled with peanuts.

The fried veggie dumplings was similar to the purple potato balls but the filling was savoury vegetables.

The xiaolongbau is a must try. I always avoid ordering this when I am having normal dimsum because it was filled with pork lard and oil. The pork usually stinks as well.
Here, it tastes so much better just like the real thing. Vinegar is not needed but it makes the xiaolongbau experience complete.
These spinach dumplings are a delight to eat because you can see how fresh and vibrant the green spinach is and the black fungus gives it a great crunch while there are some pieces of vegetarian prawn to give it some flavour.
The dandan noodles had a lovely peanut flavour with a good spiciness and there is also a non spicy version.

The steamed beancurd rolls were also good because they are not oily like the meat version and it served in delicious gravy.

Finished with the soft purple potato buns which were brushed with edible gold and filled with mashed taro in the middle.
Overall, the dimsums were exceptionally good without breaking the bank as it cost $28 per basket.
Currently only available at TST, however they do have a dimsum platter at CWB which is slightly different.
