You can't miss this place because of the bright shop front and the girly interior.Finally tried it as I was in the area.
Tried the grilled set and a donburi.
They show you the set before it is grilled and then the guy takes it away and prepares it for you.
It had a lovely smell when it was done and the crab paste was the best because it was rich with a strong unami taste, best with rice.

My next favourite was the crab leg, again it was sweet and moist.

My friend had the scallop and razor clam.


Here was the donburi which was just photogenic.

The uni was the cutest I have seen but tinier compared to the product picture.
Even though they were tiny, the taste was amazing, they were creamy and complimented the rice nicely and the crabmeat, salmon roe and salmon were all fresh and wonderful.

Took some tourists here because they were fed up with local and Cantonese food.
The noodles impressed them the most because the noodles were fine with a good firmness to it and the broth was strong and it had a rich peanut taste.
It was quite spicy so I will probably ask for it to be less spicy next time.
The vegetable buns were soft and fluffy with deliciously chopped jade green vegetables and black fungus inside.

A croissant muffin hybrid

The cruffin which is a pastry hybrid of a croissant and a muffin was only previously available at posh bakeries in London and some other countries.
It is meant to be crisp and flaky like a croissant and soft doughy like a muffin on the inside.
You can get it at Marks and Sparks as well as this Japanese inspired Chinese bakery A1 group but their version is weird as it is covered in icing.

At Marks and Sparks, there are three different flavours – chocolate and hazelnut, Seville orange and strawberry and Marc de champagne, at £1.50 in the UK and $25 in Hong Kong.
I was a bit disappointed because it was not doughy and soft in the middle and it was just a croissant all the way through but shaped like a muffin.
Never the less, both the Strawberry and orange flavours were good because jam and croissants always go together.
The chocolate was a bit rich and tasted like a pain du chocolat filled with nutella paste.

Discovered this joint on the way to SheungWan.
Fete Up is modern with an open counter where you can see all the fresh and colourful food selections.
There is a digital ordering kiosk with octopus or paywave payment methods which is very convenient.

Each meal box has a good combination of carbohydrates, protein and fats that are important for maintaining good health.
Luckily for me I don't gain weight but I love rice and here they have so many different rice options like coconut rice, tea rice, pilaf rice etc.

Unfortunately the Hakka Thunder tea was sold out so I had the meal boxes.

It was really good they let me sample all the rices because I just love rice and it reminds me of yummy Persian rice which is colourful and flavoured.
The Kashmiri curry yoghurt chicken was very spicy but my favourite and the Asian coleslaw had a fresh light crunch to it.


The Achar pickles were quite tart and the Sichuan Cauliflower was another good pick.


Anyway, I am so glad to have tried this place because I love it and hope to be back soon for the Thunder tea rice.
I also tried the avocado milk which was thick and creamy sweetened with palm sugar.

Was at Ocean Park and by the time we decided to leave it was quite late so decided to come here for the buffet since someone gave us the discount thing.
Ocean Park is such an iconic attraction in Hong Kong so it makes sense they had some iconic dishes at the buffet like mock shark-fin soup and curry fishballs.

Basically it was a semi buffet with a main included but the buffet has many good things to try.

As a carbs lovers, I loved the smiley potatoes which were starchy and crispy while the fishballs were soft and springy.


There is a corner for kids to decorate cookies and desserts.

For mains had the lamb and lobster thermidor.
The lamb was soft and succulent while the lobster was springy and cheesy.
It takes a while to come so it might be wise to order earlier.


The dessert selection was good and they had HD icecream and various other desserts.

The buffet includes tea and coffee which is located near the soups and desserts.

Got the $5 softserve which was not very memorable.
It wasn't creamy or too sweet but slightly icy.
The milkiness was as strong as advertised but not delicious and for $5 you actually get quite a bit of softserve in that cone but sadly it just didn't taste good.
The softserve was palatable but not exciting.
The minced meat with rice and onsen egg was interesting though.

For some strange reason, more Taiwanese shops are opening up again.Discovered this place because this Taiwanese lady was on Electric road yelling in Tawanese about this new joint which later turns out to be the lady who works there.

The drinks selection was really good because they had Earl Grey Taiwanese style hot or cold drinks to choose from.
Both tasted great because I just love Earl Grey.

The beef noodles are worth trying because the broth is strong and there are lots of carrots and white radish in it.

The rice vermicelli was a little different to what I was expecting because the strands were thick and not the thin ones I normally come across. The soup was a little bland as well.
The fried chicken was ok but a bit salty.
