On this visit to RPH, discovered it was their 20th Anniversary!!
Began with the nourishing and tasty soup which is part of the Flavourful wellness set.
Next was the Steamed Half Boston Lobster with Crushed Garlic and Hua Diao Rice Liquor which won the Bauhinia award.
I definitely loved it because the glass vermicelli soaked the liquor yet it wasn't oily.
Th Halibut trio was also another award winning dish at Hofex.
The smoked one had a lovely twist to it.
As a fish lover, the Baked Fillets flavored with Smoked Rosewood were a treat and the texture was firm with flaky.
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary they had prawn toast, a classic Cantonese dish.
A meal is not complete without chicken and this one had perfectly crispy skin and the chicken was tender.
The Pan-fried Minced Beef with Air-dried Tangerine Peel made me feel nostalgic because the aged peel had this old bookshop smell to it.

I used to dine at the Wanchai joint but they have now moved to QB.
Got the donburi with uni and salmon.
The salmon was fresh and the uni was creamy which went with the rice perfectly.

Also had the salmon roe and uni sushi which was very satisfying as the salmon was thickly sliced topped with my favourite popping salmon roe!

This place was popular when they first opened.They turn your favourite candies into shakes with a choice of Western candies and Asian candies.
Evidently I went for the twix milkshake because this is a chocolate bar that I can relate to.
The noodles were a bit bland so next time I'll just grab a drink!

Went here because they had my favourite pandan sponge.It tasted good as expected, soft and fluffy with a fragrant pandan flavour to it.

For carbs, had the pork knuckle braised in plum with rice.
It was good the pork knuckle was served separately.

The wontons in wine was really good because it was really appetizing.

Anyway, the burger was definitely the star of the show.

Initially the patty tasted like British pork sausage because of the herbs and then it tasted like the stuffing you get at Christmas with turkey so I loved it because these two are my favourites.
It turns out the patty is made of chestnuts hence the taste is really similar to stuffing.

The man himself Christophe Adam was in Hong Kong to showcase the new collection.
No 286 Chestnut Umeboshi is filled with vanilla mascarpone cream and chestnuts from France, following a layer of umeboshi confit which gives it a salty kick to complement the chestnut.
It is garnished with a white chocolate golden rabbit, golden leaves and chestnut cream to give it that Autumn festive character.

No 287 Red bean sesame is very buttery and a popular pick because it is infused with smooth red bean cream and sesame crisp garnished with a rabbit and lotus pattern on pink.
La Lune Mooncake gift box are 4 colourful milk or dark chocolate shells filled with goodies.

Two contain fruit jellies (lemon yuzu lemongrass, coconut pandan) and the other two are caramelized nuts (caramelized hazelnuts, almonds).

The jellies which appear to be wrapped in plastic are 100% edible because the wrapping is just rice paper.
Fruit jellies (pate de fruit) are a traditional French sweet treats that are made with natural fruit juice.
