If you come during the weekend and evenings,  there are massive queues so I decided to check it out during the afternoon when there are less people.There are tea sets that are filling and affordable.

I got the toasties because I like ham and cheese.

It came with truffled egg and a hash brown so the portion was quite big for tea.
The toasties were very crispy with ham in the middle but the cheese wasn't strong enough.
For drinks, there were so many that were captivating.
The best one was the pineapple and apricot which tasted natrual blended with pieces of apricot.

The orange and passionfruit was also good but the colour was a bit too bright for my liking.

Whenever Hana Musubi launches new items, I will usually fall for it.This time there were four new musubis for November and a special musubi at the SOGO store making it five.

I had to eliminate two choices because I can only manage to eat three.
In the end I got the mackerel, miso shiitake mushroom and the curry seafood vegetable.

The mackerel was a bit plain but it was simple with meaty skinned and boned mackerel meat filling.

miso shiitake mushroom:
After taking a bite, I regretted not getting the beef because the miso was a bit sweet for me.
This was the reason I didn't get the chestnut because the chestnut would have been sweet.

curry seafood vegetable:
I thought the taste of this one was amusing because it tasted like Nissin Seafood curry cupnoodles especially the vegetable and squid filling.

I have always wanted to try this joint but the CWB location is a bit difficult as you there three sets of traffic lights.
Anyway, discovered this in Central so went there for dessert.
They basically serve shaved ice which is not flavoured hence they add sauces to it.
The texture of the shaved ice tastes just like snow fallen from the sky.
I ordered the avocado because it is not as sweet compared to the other flavours but the pairing with yoghurt syrup was strange.
It was good that the syrup was served separately because I didn't need it.
The avocado sauce was really good because it was made with fresh avocados and strangely it tasted nice with the ice, however it does get sickly towards the end.
It would be great if they served smaller bowls at the half the price because I would probably try more flavours.
Having one big bowl gets boring and by the time you get to the bottom it becomes slush.

Tong Kee Bao Dim is quite a good joint to pick up dimsums fast and easy.Decided to try two new items: vegetable bun and the ox stomach.
The vegetable bun was huge and thick that there was little space for the filling.
The taste was ok but there was more bun to filling which makes it tasteless.
The texture of the bun was soft and fluffy but it was a bit dry to swallow.

The radish and ox stomach was really really salty that I recommend getting some noodles and mixing them together or rinse it in hot water before eating.
It really baffles me how much sodium Hongkongers can take per day and stay alive!

Came across this bakery while I was randomly exploring MACAU.There were so many sweet and savoury items to choose from and it was affordable as well.
There was this interesting cheese and mochi bread!

The custard and salted egg yolk roll looked good as well.

But as it was tea time, I prefer having cakes so I had the green tea snow cake and the black forest cake.
Both were light and delicious filled with cream that was not too sweet.
The chocolate cake in the black forest was really good with a strong chocolate taste.
As for the matcha, the white fluffy cream on top was heavenly.

HAWKR has just opened at PP3 where Wasabi Warriors used to be.

This is the second branch with its first in Quarry Bay.
They have the wraps, salads, hot dishes and desserts which are grab and go.


As a pandan lover,I had the pandan latte.

I was really excited because I have never had it in latte form before.


The colour of the latte was pastel mint green which reminds me of mint icecream in UK but strangely mint icecream is not popular in Hong Kong.
It was absolutely the best latte I have had because I just love Pandan.
The smell was good and the sweetness was just right as well as the temperature so I'll definitely come back for it.
I was pretty chuffed because it had a lovely foam cap on top.

My friend wanted a cake for Halloween so chose this one.
I was looking forward to it because I like black forest.
It turned out really disappointing because there was more cream than cake and it was that plastic fake cream.
There was about 20% cake so it was just cream and nothing else with a few pieces of jelly.
The cake was decorated with milk chocolate and some candy pebbles which you wouldn't want to eat anyway but the cake wasn't pricey so fair enough!
