I am glad there is another great joint for pasta.Normally I dine at the one at Wellington Street but the pastas here are freshly  made hence they have a different texture and the choices are better here.
On the menu, they have tortellini as well as soup pastas for lunch.
I had the tomyumkung broth tagliatelle which I really liked because the broth was not too spicy or strong and the strands of pasta soaked the broth well.

The meatball tagliatelle was also good because the tomato sauce was tangy so I couldn't get enough of it.
The meatballs were reasonably soft and juicy.

Definitely coming back again for the tortellini.
La Casa Bistro has managed to impress me because the pasta range is good and they have Earl Grey which the other place doesn't offer.

Tried this joint a while ago at Hung Hom.
They only sold fishballs before but now they have noodles and shaomai.
Got the fried fishballs, shaomai and noodles which came to a whopping $65.
It was not filling and quite expensive for the tiny portions.
Personally I am not a fan of those white fishballs which make a weird squishy noises like Halloumi cheese when you chew them.
They are served with thousand island sauce which is weird.
Anyway, the shaomai was rubbery and slightly dry but tasty because of the octopus.
The tiny portion of noodles were good but slightly oily.

Had the almond latte.
It was really sweet and smoothing with a rich almond taste.
Requested half a shot of coffee because I liked it sweet with a strong almond taste.
There was also salted caramel as well which I plan to try next time.

On this visit, there were marshmallows but when I had it again, there were no marshmallows.

Went here because my friend likes grilled meats.
The ordering is pretty good because you just order through the ipad.

It was good that they had non grilled items like sashimi and fried stuff.

The fried items were really good and you can order plain rice to go with the food.
Grilling the meats was fun and the meats were fresh.

The lamb was interesting because it is marinated with Earl Grey tea leaves according to the menu.
Beef slices and chicken wings are worth ordering again.
The dessert was a pleasant surprise because it was Movenpick icecream.
The strawberry is always my favourite flavour.

I haven't had a galette for a while so decided to fix my cravings with a savoury one.
Decided to try Ecrepe as it was new.
Normally I go to LC or O delice.
There were many choices and the combinations were different.
I ordered the OMEGA which had olives and Feta cheese.
When it came, there was a lovely cheesy smell and the edges were crisp while the centre was soft.
It was simply delicious dipping the crispy edges into the runny yolk and the rest of the galette was just how I liked it because it was proper cheesy with strong flavours from the olives and feta.

If you come during the weekend and evenings,  there are massive queues so I decided to check it out during the afternoon when there are less people.There are tea sets that are filling and affordable.

I got the toasties because I like ham and cheese.

It came with truffled egg and a hash brown so the portion was quite big for tea.
The toasties were very crispy with ham in the middle but the cheese wasn't strong enough.
For drinks, there were so many that were captivating.
The best one was the pineapple and apricot which tasted natrual blended with pieces of apricot.

The orange and passionfruit was also good but the colour was a bit too bright for my liking.

Whenever Hana Musubi launches new items, I will usually fall for it.This time there were four new musubis for November and a special musubi at the SOGO store making it five.

I had to eliminate two choices because I can only manage to eat three.
In the end I got the mackerel, miso shiitake mushroom and the curry seafood vegetable.

The mackerel was a bit plain but it was simple with meaty skinned and boned mackerel meat filling.

After taking a bite, I regretted not getting the beef because the miso was a bit sweet for me.
This was the reason I didn't get the chestnut because the chestnut would have been sweet.

I thought the taste of this one was amusing because it tasted like Nissin Seafood curry cupnoodles especially the vegetable and squid filling.
