I was captivated by the noodles so came here.
At the entrance, I was not sure what to make of it because there was hotpots, yumcha etc.

Inside the restaurant, you will see lots of Chinese Teaware and Tea pets because the owner used to sell tea.
The menu is simple, you just tick what you want and the drink of your choice.
You can choose either noodles or rice.
For the rice, chose the non spicy broth which is loaded with healthy red dates and wolfberries.


The spicy one would also go well with rice as it is like a mini hotpot but I chose noodles because I love noodles.

I was really happy with my choices because I chose fresh Mountain Yam, Ducks Blood, Vegetables, luncheon ham and Wintermelon.
You get to choose 5 items which was rather generous.
The Wintermelon was surprisingly good because it was really soft and mushy and not hard which means it is undercooked.


The noodles were so good and it was definitely worth paying a few more dollars for these noodles because they hang the broth well.

Not only was the food good, it ended well with the teas especially the Iron Buddha which I kept asking for hot water refills as it was fragrant and strong.
As you can see, they were generous with the tea leaves.
It was good they served the tea in a nice glass cup so you can appreciate and see how much tea leaves are in there.


Next time I will come back for the oolong tea since I tried the Jasmine.

I hope they can keep it consistently good as I plan to come back.

Although this shop has been around since 2002, this was my first visit.
They serve juices, cooked food and fresh fruits.
I spotted some Saturn peaches (also known as donut (or doughnut) peaches) and since I haven't tried them before I got some.
They were $20 for 5, there was a weird mutant one with a mini peach stuck to the main peach so I got that as well since I was curious to see if there would be a mini stone inside it.
The verdict was the ones with red bottoms taste sweeter so pick the red ones and they had a good bite being donut shaped which made it easier to eat.

Went here with a friend and it was surprisingly packed with people which later turned out to be invited IGers.
The menu was really good with creative croissants with fillings such as Salted Caramel Espresso, Lobster Bisque which are their signatures while the limited editions had Black Lava Sesame and Tom Yum Goong.
I ordered the sous vide salmon with expectations as I have previously tried it at MAUREENS, KASA in Central, and many more restaurants so if it is done right, it should taste damn good because the texture is silky and almost like jelly that melts in your mouth.
When it came, it looked well done but inside it was perfectly coral pink and shiny, the exact sous vide texture that I was looking for.
The salmon came with veggies and I am so glad I chose the cooked vegetables because it was healthy boiled cabbage paired with a side of protein packed egg white.
The egg white was surprisingly wonderful as the texture was tender and there was no oiliness to it.

Came here as they serve Chiu Chow food and there were lots of dishes that I haven't seen before such as the Tooth Fish and this other fish dish cooked in Soy Milk!!
Decided to order the meatballs, oyster congee and the spare ribs with vegetables as my friend was not adventurous.
I really liked the spare ribs and vegetables because it was healthy and the soup was was good.
The meatballs were springy and the broth was similar to the one above.

The oyster congee was a little watery but contained quite a lot of little oysters and rice which was at the bottom of the bowl.
The stomach soup was nice and peppery.
Overall, I found the dishes tasted very similar to each other and not presentable or appetizing.

As well as having a good hotpot, I was impressed that this place puts safety first.
The electric stoves are not plugged until the customer arrives so that people won't accidentally get burnt if they put their hands on it.
They use ceramic pots instead of metal because it is also for safety as you won't burn yourself if you touch the sides.
Only the bottom is hot.

Anyway, started off with the fruit tea which was fruity without being too sweet.

Since this place specializes in soup, tried the soup which was nourishing and not that oily.

For the hotpot broth, had the coconut chicken which comes with bamboo piths and other goodies.

It was really good that they told us what was included in the pot so we didn't order double.
The best item for me was the Kale because not many places have it as an option for hotpot and when Kale is cooked, the texture is soft and the frilly edges of the kale hangs more broth to it.

The crispy fish skins were tasty without any rancidness so I had it with rice which was so good and filling as I have to have rice/noodles or I won't be full.

Came here for dinner after seeing donburi on the lunch menu.
In the evenings they also do Yakitori, udon and other dishes.

Began with some starters as I had a heavy lunch earlier.
As I love Donburi, I had the salmon roe, salmon and uni donburi.
To my surprise, it was presented like a pretty layered tartare topped with a rose made of salmon while the wasabi was shaped into a leaf!
It was so good they were generous with the salmon roe as I LOVE SALMON ROE, there was so much hidden in the cucumber cup.
To be honest, I ordered it because of the salmon roe.
The taste was interesting, as there was crispy pink sugar in the middle which takes you by surprise and there was so much Tobiko too in the sushi rice so every mouthful was so much fun!!!

If you are looking for a quiet place for lunch in MK, this is the place to go as it is located at the newly opened T.O.P mall.
The lunch set includes a starter/salad, a main and a drink.
You can upgrade your salad/soup to the ones listed on the bottom of the menu but I didn't because I thought the asparagus salad was good enough.
The salad was refreshingly dressed in vinegar topped with tender asparagus.

The vegetable soup was also comforting as it was flavoured by onions, herbs and vegetables.

For the mains, had the steak and salmon.
The salmon was accompanied well with this tangy bell peppers and chunky vegetables which tasted like a home cooked ratatouille however the menu said it was salsa verde.
Anyway, it was healthy and balanced with the filling buttery mash.

The steak was matched nicely with the Lyonnaise potatoes and pommery mustard.
Will be back again to try the dinners.
