Went here for some vegetables and they have more options than before.
The sauteed spinach with bacon has always been there but the broccoli is new.
The broccoli turned out really delicious as the chili made it extremely appetizing and it wasn't too spicy.
There was garlic in it too and assorted mushrooms.
The spinach wasn't that tasty to begin with but it turns out all the sauce is at the bottom so if you mix it, the taste is great but evidently not fresh spinach so I don't recommend this dish.
Drinks is just drinks and refillable from the drinks bar.

Fung Shing is famous for scrambled milk and many other Shunde dishes.
I went to this one because it seemed the oldest out of the bunch located in Whampoa near exit D2.

Here are the Shunde classics that we had:The scrambled milk is a signature of Shunde cuisine which is delicate and smooth.

Next was the crispy chicken which is always tasty.
I loved the chicken wings and chicken drumstick as the chicken was flavourful and tender.

The Chinese soup was good as it had a lot of mushrooms in it.

Prawn toast is another signature.

There was minced pigeon which is eaten with lettuce.

To finish off, there was fried rice and vegetables.


I was actually looking forward to dessert as the baked sago pudding is always the best but this time is was sweeter than the one we had at Kowloon Bay.

The other dessert fared better as it wasn't so sweet topped with lots of desiccated coconut and peanuts.

Phole is known as the best pho in Vietnam but personally I like the North American ones as the broth tastes different.
The pho is ok here with a glass of herbs, not bad but just not my cup of tea.
I didn't like the pho they used but the broth was ok.

Unfortunately I didn't know there was a branch in Prince Edward so went to this branch.
On the veggie menu they had deep fried bittermelon and okra in three styles: plum seasoning, salt and pepper and salted egg yolk.
Plum seasoning is definitely a no no for me as it tastes sweet so I got the salt and pepper.
The batter was thin and crispy while the salt and pepper wasn't too strong.
As expected the bittermelon was crunchy and slightly undercooked.

Previously this joint used to be Hero, Passion by G and now it is 1/16 Coffee.The joint is nice and quiet so went there for tea.
Had the Earl Grey Tea which had a strong Bergamot taste, overall a good place to stay for peace and quiet!!!

Went here a while ago for Bánh Mì obviously.
There were quite a few to choose from, they had fish, the Signature and vegetarian.
I would have chosen the vegetarian if I saw it on the menu.
Anyway, the fish I had was good as there was lots of dill in it even though the menu doesn't say , the chili jam was extremely spicy.
The Coffee was good but I needed a lot of condensed milk to balance the bitterness because I am not used to drinking coffee but love trying out Vietnamese style coffees.
The buncha which I didn't have any expectations was pretty good especially the noodles which were soft and thin, not the commercial crap you get elsewhere.
Again I liked it as there were lots of dill in the soup.

Whenever you go past Hung Fook Tong, you will always smell those tea eggs so this time decided to get some.
They were actually braised in lingzhi which is healthy.
However it turned out not so healthy as they were rather salty.
The eggs are definitely hard boiled and probably have been in the wooden tub for days as the egg white is no longer white.
Anyway, definitely too salty and beats the purpose of being healthy.
