I was attracted to this place because there was peach tree gum on the menu but I had a feeling it wouldn’t be available because people don't really know what it is so they don’t order it and therefore it gets discontinued.
They also had this sweet fig soup.
Anyway, there is a good selection of vegetarian noodles and I went for the DIY choice and chose spicy broth with spinach noodles and bamboo piths.

The broth was spicy but tasteless and the noodles were hard.
I probably made a wrong choice but I will come back again because the prices are quite reasonable and better than the crap served in Quarry Bay and Tai Koo.

I am not really keen on eggettes because the norm is mega sweet eggettes that are too sweet.
Anyway, a few weeks ago I noticed these wacky eggette flavours by MODOs because they had the orange club which is a popular biscuit in the UK from Ireland and this other one made with Campbells Borscht soup which I don’t know what to make of it yet.

I got the pandan eggette because I love this flavour and Modos speciailizes in pandan desserts.
The taste of these eggettes were amazing, crispy on the outside and chewy and soft in the middle with a fragrant pandan flavour that was not too sweet. I liked it because there was no eggy taste which is great for me but probably not favoured by others if they like that egg fragrance.



It was so nice that I ate it all, for other eggettes I only have one egglet and leave it.
Finished off with the Earl grey pandan tea which made it a perfect ending leaving a lovely pandan flavour lingering in the mouth.

After having pandan eggettes at Modos, I was making my way to Prince Edward MTR when I saw this bright pink signage so went and had a look.
They had this scary looking Swiss roll which had red and green stars on it.
Then I noticed they had these huge square pieces of marshmallows covered in coconut.
There was mango and pandan so I got the pandan.
Typo? PANFAN?

Anyway, the marshmallow was quite nice with a fragrant pandan taste that was not too sweet but the texture was quite powdery though.

California Tower of Lan Kwai Fong was re-opened last December housing many chic restaurants and clubs.

Zentral is the first Club to open with two floors on the 4th floor and 5th floor.

A great place located in the heart of LKF where all the restaurants are.
Secrets on the 5/F of Zentral is secret no more as everyone knows about the Friday 6-10pm Happy Hour that offers buy one get one free on some special cocktails costing no more than $100.

There are other drinks such as champagne, spirits, wine, liquor, mocktails and cocktails that are buy one get one free.

What attracted me was the CHEESE PLATTER and COLD CUTS because I love cheese which always go well with drinks better than chips and lame satays served at other places.

I got the basil limeade that is non alcoholic but it doesn’t seem to contain basil according to the menu because it has lime juice, lemongrass syrup, kaffir lime and ginger ale.

Anyway, it was a refreshing drink with a good fizz and I loved the cheese especially the creamy brie and cheddar.

Came here because IVY was located conveniently at IFC with a lovely view of the harbour and ferris wheel.

IVY serves French food.

When you sit down, there is a plate of tomatoes, salt and a whole lemon.
The tomatoes are appetizers and the lemon and salt are condiments.

Had this classic salad which is crispy crunchy beans with velvety cubes of foie gras in an appetizing balsamic dressing.

Next we had springy prawns in a fragrant olive oil.

The salad was lovely and reminded me of a salad that this French girl made me drenched heavily in vinegar.

The crab lobster salad was also good because it was a good balance of seafood and salad vegetables.

The fish was the star in my opinion because and I love fish.
Lemon sole is a common fish in the UK but rare in Hong Kong.

For desserts we had souffle and the creme brulee but personally I found them too sweet and buttery.

This branch of Marks and Sparks is located right inside Admiralty MTR so I ended up going there because I was early while waiting for someone and got a bag of pork scratchings.
Unfortunately, they seemed to have gone off with a rancid taste but they were still crispy.
Taste was quite salty as well.

Went to the new branch of MS on the corner opposite where Burger King used to be.
I got a packet of milk bottles, which are classic British sweets.
They taste a bit like Chinese white rabbit sweets but better with a gummy texture and fragrant milk taste.
